They either don't want other companies to make it, or they want to sell it at a ridiculous markup.

Remember when they were marketed as non-addictive painkillers, when neither of those things are true? lol

As if somebody selling cocaine said after selling it all , "that cocaine is bad".

and then advices  his customers to get addiction treatment.

We must stop acting like milky cows for such companies .

They are attempting to monopolize this section of the market solely for money. Make your medications addictive as possible in order to sell a "cure" which in turn brings in more profit.
