  1. I'm interested in this as well. Can order through Amazon... Thinking about it everyday.
  2. Wrong answers. It's a '89 Toyota Starlet P7
  3. Got a new mic + a new external soundcard/audio interface: Got some new fenders for the street warrior princess:
  4. We have the same for like a decade. No extra charges and it uses the overhead bandwidth. Thankfully we are on the 3rd floor so no one can really use it, because of the small wifi range.
  5. @TVwazhere: That list is great. I'm checking it right now. Those cases are a bit pricey for me... As for bigger case... I would like to get similar size or, diferent layout but smaller.
  6. @Streetguru: That case is just too big. The SG13 could be good. My concern about ventillation is not the problem with heat, but with wind noise, as currently the card is closed in from 3 sides. @Genwyn: That's a good one. There's a vent on the top as I remember correctly.
  7. Okay, I'm starting this topic to get some halp from the community. I'm currently in a hunt for a small case for my components, which are the following: Asus B250i ITX board i5-7600 nonK Noctua NH-L9i cooler (just 37mm tall) FuryX memory Zotac 1080ti Mini - 21cm long (please convert to inches...) Corsair SF600 - I have a custom Cable Kit, would be great if I can use it in the new case No additional SSD or HDD - just one nvme drive on the board Currently I am using a Jonsbo U1+, which thereotically could not fit the current graphics card. But, without the front IO it could. However, the noise is bad. Not the fans, but the turbulent wind noise. So I decided to get a new case. I'm very price oriented, so every penny could count. Pictures and ideas: My new Idea would be a two chamber designed case. Like the Dan Case A4, but as I mentioned, cheaper the better. So I find some alternatives and other style cases to work with. First: Kolink Rocket - Dan case copy, but bigger, could be ventillated better than the current case. Pricey but can work out some trade-in with a second hand unit. Second: Geeek A50 - Another Dan case copy, but DIY. Could make some custom side panels for better airflow and can be ventillated better than the current case. The Price Is right (#Floss) Third: Geeek A40 - This is a diferent idea for the dual chamber design, like we saw on Velka cases. This would be perfect in my opinion. The Price Is right (#Floss) If anyone knows a better alternative, feel free to suggest me anything, but don't want to spend all of my money on the case as every part of the machine is second hand or super discounted... Thank you.
  8. That tower is not that great. Got it with the case (both second hand) an it fits nicely, but the direct contact heatpipes are really bad and a bit uneven. Also the original fan was like a hairdryer... hence the Noctua swap. Edit1: Just checked, the A40 could fit everything that I need. Currently sold out, GREAT! Edit2: Making too many off topic posts, gonna' make a case topic for my suffering
  9. Thanks. But too big. Also I've got a low profile Noctua cpu cooler for another build, so I can use that. Kolink Rocket or Geeek A40/A50 it is... Geeek would be better, so I can make custom side panels with the correct cutouts for the cpu and gpu fan.
  10. Considering a case swap. The turbolence and wind noise is nuts...
  11. CPU: 65°C - All cores synced to 4.1GHz turbo GPU: 84°C - nVidia's "max", so the ~1910MHz initial boost falls back to the Zotac default clocks 1620MHz, but stays there and not throttles.
  12. Jonsbo U1+ ( its in my signature ) Roughly 12L, full aluminum. sfx psu, regular cpu tower cooler (not too big) Tempered glass Side, open bottom for the graphics card. Current state:
  13. GPU upgrade time! Squeezed it in:
  14. Bought a used Ducky Shine 3 for 15 bucks... some leds don't work... me no care Just put my blanks on: #NOICE
  15. Getting the parts for the new rig... My last custom built pc was a Prescott P4, since then I used a dozen of laptops and nowadays old Workstation machines (signature) Finally building something new. Never ever have an ITX build, so it will be fun. I guess... Parts that arrived: Graphics card: Gigabyte 1070 Mini OC Motherboard: Asus Strix B250I mITX CPU: Intel i5-7600 (maybe later switching to i7, we will see) RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 2400MHz DDR4 SSD: Toshiba XG6 512GB PSU: Corsair SF600 Case will arrive tommorrow, if anything goes as planned. Then I will make a build log from this.
  16. Flea market find: c2d, 2GB ram, 80GB hdd - 10 bucks Also got the weirdest find in my flea market career. HTC 10 pre production model, with 0.799 software version. The initial retail software version was 1.21. It does not have the fingerprint sensor on the front. Works flawlessly after upgraded to the latest retail software.
  17. Cracked before you could hit the play button in the steam client....
  18. These are great fans. Used them in an older Dell SFF build. The thermal sensors are great.
  19. Bought an open box/new MSI RX580 Gaming X card for $140 (shipped)
  20. SSD if I find it. Thinking about Windows 10 but maybe Lubuntu is more responsive on these machines. Or even convert it to a Chromebook...
  21. I tought the high res screen was the default for the ATi models and you can not configure it with the standard iGPU models. But hey, here it is! Core2Duo cpu is on the way, will bump the ram to the max and maybe put an SSD in it... Maybe if I can finally find it in my room... lol
  22. Flea market find: T60, 2GB ram, T1300 Core2Solo (will be a T7200 C2D tomorrow, for $3), 320GB HDD, 14" 1400x1050, new 9 cell battery, new original adapter. Not a single scratch on the whole machine. Registered Windows 10, whisper quiet fan... $10
  23. Local reseller. They have a ton of these with diferent ram, storage and vga options. This cpu is a beast! Will upgrade it to 1660 hexacore for maximum beast status.
