the idle temps are in the mid 40s to about 50. im not sure if this is supposed to be that high i havent touched the manaul overlock and with a load, using unigen heaven benchmark, it reaches 75 degrees. my case is corsair 750D with i5 3960k on a noctua NH d15 my case only has one fan on the back, two in the front. im guessing ambient temperature has something to do with it? as i am in Australia and it is quite hot outside, but im inside where it is relatively cool. plus im not sure if the temps are due to the fan being off at idle. any suggestion will be nice, thanks

"covert the GPT" is greyed out. at first i thought it was because i had windows installed on it. but i removed it, installed windows on my ssd and plugged the 3TB in after and it is still greyed out

i went to disk management and the 3TB seems to be split up into a 2TB and ~1TB partition. i made a new partition with the 2TB one (using option "New simple Volume") but i cannot do the same with the ~1TB portion

just finished building computer. i have a samsung 840 pro SSD as boot drive and i have a 3TB WD black drive. it is detected in BIOS and windows disk management, but not in windows explorer so i cant seem to put anything in the drive or find it in windows any help is appreciated, thanks

gtx 980 drivers? what else

right now im using an hdmi cable on another monitor to install windows. would i be able to install drivers this way? or do i have to use dvi?

no not yet. computer is brand new. i have yet to load windows.

it is the DP-DP cable included and when i plug the hdmi and DP-DP cable, monitor with hdmi conected shows stuff, like bios but ROG still has nothing

i plugged hdmi inot another monitor , an older monitor and it works

i just finished building my computer: gtx 980 strix, i5 3960k. when i tried plugging it into my ROG swift, i receive no signal however, if i use HDMI on another monitor, it appears to be fine, with stuff showing up (bios etc.) i really hope this isnt a problem with the ROG monitor or graphics card as i got them overseas. please provide any information that i can do to fix this problem, or did i miss a cable or something

i have two fans though, so do i need to use the splitter?

building my new computer right now, i have mother board asus sabertooth mark 2 z97 and i was wondering are all 4 pin fan plug things pwm or only the one marked cpu fan. i have a noctua nh d15 and wondering which fan holes to plug the fans in thanks
