  1. I bet they'll call it the S10, or maybe neither of these?
  2. I used to use a skin on my S7 Edge. I dropped it a couple times. I peeled the skin off and saw a crack. Skins only protect against minor scratches. Not even deep scratches. Try stabbing your phone with a knife while having a skin on (not saying you should do this, but this is a common procedure used to test glass screen protectors), I bet it will go right through easily since its just flexible vinyl and not something strong like glass or even hard plastic. What I'm saying is, using a skin and a case is near impossible. You can't even use screen protectors and skins at the same time easily either. So using skins on a phone isn't worth the massive sacrifice it makes.
  3. Even if you get a "ultra thin case", it won't give you any protection, and if it does, it will be very minor. Anyways, I'll recommend you some here: https://www.spigen.com/collections/iphone-xs/products/iphone-5-8-case-liquid-air?variant=9356384895023 (Probably the best suited to your taste, since it's thin and also has mil-grade certification) https://www.spigen.com/products/iphone-5-8-neo-hybrid (This is the same case variant I use for my S9, and so far phone has no cracks and dents) https://rhinoshield.io/pages/shop/Apple?device=iphone-xs&category=solidsuit P.S Never, ever use skins on your phone.
  4. If you're only doing that, and nothing more, Surface Go should is the best fit for you. Just don't get the 4GB model, and get the 8GB one. You could always get a Surface Pro 5 if Surface Go might be slow for you.
  5. Is it damaged in any way? (Physical, water, cracks, etc)
  6. You said you have the Galaxy S5, right? The battery's lifetime is probably getting close to being dead. Luckily, you still own a phone with an user replaceable battery. Try buying a new S5 OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) battery, and see if the problem persists. If it does persist, it's an hardware/software problem inside your phone. If that happens, try a factory reset. If factory reset doesn't work, it's a hardware problem, and you will eventually need to upgrade.
  7. It's always best to use the charger provided in the box, and only those chargers. I'll give you some suggestions anyways. https://voltacharger.com/products/volta-single-pack (Best option, but expensive) https://www.amazon.com/Cellinnovation-Magnetic-Lighting-Data-Transmission-Cable-Certified/dp/B0757ZKYZ8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1537809369&sr=8-1&keywords=magnetic+usb+type+c+cable+quick+charge https://www.amazon.com/KSM-Charging-Magnetic-Display-Charger/dp/B078SXT9VW/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1537809369&sr=8-3&keywords=magnetic+usb+type+c+cable+quick+charge Is this what you're looking for?
  8. Well, you're on the right track. For the best DAC, LG V30 is the way to go right now. There's also the HTC U11 and the Razer Phone, but both require USB Type C to 3.5mm Headphone jack adapters, which might not be your thing. I'd say LG V30 is the best option. (Unless you want to wait for the V40, which probably will be overpriced)
  9. Note 4, hmm, that's a 5 year old phone. If you don't have any experience fixing it, go to a repair shop. It doesn't have to be Samsung or any Samsung certified technician since the warranty is most likely gone anyways. Best advice I can give you. Other than that, time to upgrade?
  10. My best suggestion is to contact a technician (Apple certified or Apple directly if possible) and ask them to assess the phone, then they'll decide what needs fixing or if its even repairable. You could repair it yourself, if you have experience doing so. If you really want to recover the phone, you'll probably have to spend a couple hundred bucks if its even repairable.
  11. Samsung has their own migration app called Samsung Smart Switch. If you buy the phone directly from a Samsung store, they can basically do it for you, for free. Or I guess you could buy it from somewhere else, go to a Samsung store and ask them to do it for you. You could always do it yourself as well. Note: Some data might not be migrated due to device specific reasons and etc. Read: https://www.samsung.com/global/galaxy/apps/smart-switch/
  12. Any of you guys tried using them for gaming on android? I have no audio lag on everyday tasks like YouTube, just gaming. (Any game that's not super simple like Wordscapes)
  13. Try calling your phone carrier and see if they can help, or you could contact Apple.
  14. According to the rumours, Note 9 is to be a minor upgrade to the Note 8, just like the S9 and S9+. It'll probably have all the new features S9 has, like stereo speakers, better fingerprint sensor, and dual-aperature camera. Personally, I think it depends on how often you use the S-Pen. If you don't really need it, you could wait for the S10+ (or whatever it's called), since it usually is cheaper than the Note series. Samsung is most likely to have a major upgrade for the S10, since this year they only did a minor upgrade. (Just a guess)
  15. Hi, I currently own a pair of Bose Soundsport Wireless and use the S9. They're great, except in gaming. There's a slight delay in the sound, which ruins the experience and forces me to play with wired headphones. Recently there have been a few Bluetooth 5 headphones being released. So I was wondering, if I were to use Bluetooth 5 headphones with my S9, will it fix this problem and eliminate audio delay in games?
  16. Oh..no wonder. Oh well, I'll just use wired or phone speakers when gaming. Thanks.
  17. I tried re-pairing, and firmware on both devices are already up to date. Problem still persists.
  18. I've tried it with my old phone (S7 Edge), and the issue still persists.
  19. The Soundsport Wireless are the only Bluetooth ones I have. I've tried wires ones and they're in perfect sync.
  20. When I play almost any game on my S9 with bluetooth headphones, the audio is out of sync by half a second or so. Is there any way to fix this? I use Bose Soundsport Wireless.
  21. The G7 is only an incremental update from the G6. New processor, better camera, kind of failed attempt at upgrading speakers (not stereo), better camera, etc. Only major difference is the new notch and camera. You could always get the S9 if you're willing to pay a little extra, but like the G7, it only has incremental updates asides from camera. I wouldn't cancel your order and order a G7, but maybe another phone.
  22. Personally, I'd remove the Feed and remove the launchers search bar. Aside from that, everything else is pretty much customization.
  23. XDA forums would be a good place for these kind of stuff. https://forum.xda-developers.com/ If you want something directly from Huawei: http://support.huawei.com/community/?l=en
  24. I wouldn't recommend anyone buying the S7 Edge after the pink line issued popped up, and it usually occurs after drops, so warranty won't cover it. Getting S7 would be better.
  25. LG says unbalanced back light is a byproduct of OLED displays. All OLED displays can burn in, if you don't want any, go with a LCD display. You should be fine in most cases, but if you're really worried, buy extended protection.
