I dont see how the option to buy things with in game credits is a bad thing (in this game to be exact)... considering there is a monthly cap to the amount you can buy with USD, and the game is primarily skill based. So even if you were to buy a 200$ ship with money you earned outside of the game, you could just as well get blown to bits as easily as everyone else. Spending additional money is meant to help people who do not have time to play, not give an advantage to people who have time+money. This is all meant in good form my friend, of course people who are going to spend money are going to have a slight advantage, however that advantage is small in SC, everything will be regulated when it comes to the amount of outside money you can throw into the game, as to not upset the balance of the game.

Not everyone on WoW has equal footing, because even though you are paying a sub per month, how much time you can dedicate within the month to the game will dictate how well off you are in the game. This is why Star Citizen will allow you to purchase in game items (which can also be earned in game) for people who do not have 40+ hours a week to devote to the game, but enjoy to fly their space planes on the weekend can do so and compete to the fullest extent with the tryhards who game all day... if they so desire. Although the game is still primarily skillbased... so who knows if you were to pay for items that you would actually use them to the fullest potential

From the amount of work the CIG team has put into Star Citizen from the beginning and moreso the amount they have put in the last month to release their most recent update to Arena Commander, i have no doubt in my mind that once "complete" for full release Star Citizen will be a game unlike any other . Its fantastic to see a team of developers who are completely in love with their game and want to create it with a passion. Chris Roberts is dead set on making the Best Damn Space Sim Ever and I honestly believe that he can. See you in the verse guys! ;D

Why doesn't Linus Fold?
SynapseBreak replied to Gofspar's topic in Folding@home, Boinc, and Coin Mining
LMG should have a dedicated folding machine, chugging along happily alongside its workstation bretheren. Ive always thought it would be cool for Linus to accept maybe donations of GPU's and whatnot on the condition they would be set as dedicated folding machines in the office. It might be a good way to promote F@H, thoughts? c: -

Star Citizen - How is everyone enjoying the full Line-up?
SynapseBreak replied to NJM1112's topic in PC Gaming
I love the 350r its so much better than the 300i in terms of... everything, as in less blackouts from fast maneuvers, as well as increased agility to chase down any other ship in the game, or escape ;p. Hornet is meh, although it is the king in firepower, its maneuverability is poo compared to a 300i/350r... so slap the Mantis Gatlings with Class 2 Gimbal mounts on the wings of a 350r and you have a great setup of average firepower and top notch agility. = 350r is king. Im really glad CIG allowed all backers to play all 5 ships it helps everyone decide what fighting style they prefer, and helps people make informed decisions on the ship they have, or plan to buy. I say this because if not for this full lineup becoming available, i would never have considered buying a 350r however now i am. also p.s. m50's are impossible to hit to the point of not even requiring skill to shoot them down, just unfathomable luck. -
Actually it seems as though many people are having the same problem as you, look at this http://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/2i1c23/weird_disconnections_ever_since_417/

Thats the first edition of the Idris. It had a revision done to it a couple months back, increasing the length of the ship by about 100 Meters (And is now classed a a Frigate rather than a Corvette). Here is a picture comparing the size of every ship (and concept ship) within Star Citizen http://i.imgur.com/JDsh65S.jpg This sounds like an awesome plan! Im down to do some partying
