  1. It might be a good idea to include FPS players into this activity. Though how they are structured im sure is going to rely on how many FPS players UOLTT has in comparison to pilots, basically how specialized the role will be. This might be a problem because as many people are waiting for the FPS module we dont know the exact proportions yet. Though in pure speculation we can maybe organize FPS players in a squad relevant to a single squad per Redeemer/Tali/Starliner/ whatever other ship is being occupied.
  2. Firstly, love the idea of getting started and prepping early Dont know if you guys have seen this, maybe you have The pilots in this video are effectively running a 4 man squad (much like the one you are proposing rentaspoon) but are using a buddy system to target enemies. You can listen to their lingo and how they communicate among buddies, which is really important to good logistics. From what i can see, there are two people per buddy team, and then that means two buddy teams per squad (though i would suggest they are rather a fireteam than a squad). Maybe this can be considered to be implemented? What do you all think?
  3. Dude honestly, both ATLA and LOK are freaking great shows. If you got really into ATLA then i highly recommend the Legend of Korra, since you get to see a really indepth look at the lore and what the characters from ATLA did with their lives. Plus Korra is a total baller, so you can watch her kick some ass. It will not ruin your childhood in the slightest.
  4. Star Citizen does not have a concrete date set because it will not sell itself short in return for a quick investment. Though it has raised over 89m in funding Chris Roberts and CIG plan to make "The Best Damn Space Sim Ever" and money is hardly a motivating factor in that, as their original kickstarter was only a fraction of that 89m. CIG works out of passion, is what im trying to say.
  5. INN wrote up a great article on some of the release schedule. This is not concrete however, its written by a fan of the community (albeit one of the most active SC contributers on /r/starcitizen). http://imperialnews.network/2015/09/star-citizen-release-plans/
  6. Something else may be wrong with your game, or your computer then. Im able to achieve 45FPS + on Very High settings in Vanduul Swarm (though in BR with many people it tanks quite a bit) with an i7 4770k & a 780. ATM the game is not completely & outrageously taxing, though taxing it is nonetheless, and will continue to be so.
  7. Yeah its definitely the player increase... which kind of worried me because if CIG wants to have battles involving cap ships its going to get messy if everyone is lagging to hell (at least to an outrageous extent). But oh well, it'll be fine. CIG will be on top of it once resources are diverted back to AC
  8. Maybe, im not entirely sure actually. Because over the last few months for me ive seen a noticeable drop in GPU usage, and also overall FPS, though this is all just speculation its the only thing ive gone off of.
  9. Keep in mind, optimization is really poor atm, and has gotten worse actually last couple of patches. So right now a 16 player match may crush a 970, but it definitely will not in the future.
  10. Guys, FYI the 1.2 Arc Corp patch just went live and is up for download It might take a while to download, but hopefully it will be worth it In the mean time you can watch some Twitch Streams about it, from people who were in the original PTU test build. Here is the official post as well: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm-link/transmission/14927-Welcome-To-ArcCorp-Star-Citizen-12-Released Get in and have some fun!
  11. Ceteris Paribus it would come down to sheer luck. Both of the ships are meant for the Military, and both hold a substantial arsenal to destroy the other with. The Tali however is twice the size and holds twice the crew than the Vanguard, this may give an advantage... especially when it comes to area of coverage (since it does hold very many turrets), so finding a Vanguard may find it hard to grab a good angle of attack. Also the Tali has Anti Cap ship torpedoes it can turn on the Vanguard, which in theory would mess its day up good. On the other hand the Vanguard is smaller and slightly more maneuverable (slightly), so overall harder to hit (its still a huge target). Having a S6 Fixed gun may rip the Tali's shields to shreds though, depending on how fast and quick an attack can be executed before having been found out. Though i love my Vanguard... the Tali seems to edge ahead a bit.
  12. You can do that as well. https://www.reddit.com/r/starcitizen_trades
  13. Oh, i didint actually know that. Guess he is going to have to wait for another wave of ships to release next year, or maybe even try and snag a Reliant on the grey market for CCU.
  14. You will not be able to buy a Vanguard with LTI ever again. You can always buy a ship with LTI that will soon be released (because only concept sale ships have LTI), such as the Endeavor, or Crucible (Hospital and Repair ship), and then Cross Chassis Upgrade to the Vanguard once they are Hangar ready and the option is available, effectively transferring LTI onto your new Vanguard. Hope this helped.
  15. Hmm thats interesting, normally people who have it unselectable dont have the Arena Commander pass. Maybe delete your USER folder inside wherever you have downloaded your SC? That normally resets everything having to do with Ship loadouts, and fixed some problems, so it might fix this one.
  16. Have you bought the Arena Commander pass? its an additional 5$ if your package does not already come with one: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/pledge/Module-Passes/Arena-Commander
  17. Owner of a truly Mil-Spec ship, the Vanguard plans are to run Security detail in the PU, everyone should be scared of the giant
  18. Yeah, Next year ill make it for sure Bet it was hilarious watching people trying to get unstuck
  19. Dude thats so weird. Yeah i live in the lower valley Was going to take my jeep to Red Sands, but chickened out at the last moment.
  20. I knew a lot of people went to Red Sands, but i never knew it was that many Im from EP as well Should have taken my jeep
  21. It takes 9 months to birth a baby, but 9 mothers cannot birth a baby in 1 month. No matter the amount of funding, Star Citizen is working at the same pace it intended to from the start, only now with more money that CIG has raised they are able to add more onto the game in the same amount of time.
