  1. Not me, transport in the verse from where we stand now seems particularly boring. Then again, we have yet to see very much about it, so only time will tell. (400$ hurts the soul man...)
  2. The Vanduul are not friendly, and this is revenge upon them for what they did to us humans at Orion. UOLTT is not weak, and hopefully the members disciplined. To that extent, spoils of war should not cause infighting as that would show a complete lack of respect towards one another. Either way, providing medical aid can be a fruitful venture and im all for it, however it should be executed to the fullest extent possible to show our support for the cause.
  3. As of right now you earn REC points when you play online in Arena Commander, depending on how well you do in these matches (FFA, Squadron Battle, or Co-OP vanduul swarm) determines how many points you will get, on average though expect around 500-700 points per game. These points can be spent to rent out equipment to use on your ships (or even other ships entirely), many weapons cost between 500-1000 REC, and ships 5000+, and you rent them out for a week at a time. This is regarding Arena Commander currently however... In the full game we have no idea how long it will take to upgrade or even buy a new ship, some people have said "20 hours for a Constellation" but nobody knows for sure. Obviously it wont be outrageously hard, but it will be difficult to some extent as we would not want everyone and their mother flying their Idris around a day after they bought the game. The reason nobody knows for sure is because even CIG doesnt know for sure themselves, right now they are focused with Squadron42 and FPS release, much less PU and the full game. We will know in time so dont fret, we just have to wait a bit longer Hope this helped a bit Also, if your plan is to get a Capital Sized ship, remember that it will require a substantial crew to work it to its fullest potential. Best option is to work here with UOLTT and join forces in order to have the best possible experience in operating your Cap ship.
  4. The Humans are going to need all the help they can get during OPPF, and it would be an honor to have UOLTT leading the charge against the Vanduul!
  5. In the current version of AC some missiles are impossible to use countermeasures against (as there are none), so dont be disheartened if you die to them because we're all dying to them. Try not to use CS missiles for the sake of everyone else, although i believe that the LN by default comes with Dominators so you're good on that part. See you in the Verse'!
  6. The X85 is a snub fighter, and its assets were part of the leak. Here is a video on it,
  7. Hey LTT I just wanted to let you all know on this data page that i got a Vangaurd SC Name: SynapseBreak SC Moniker: SynapseBreak Ships: Vanguard. Im looking forward to seeing you all in the Verse'!
  8. As of now you are spending real money for a ship, but in the current released bit of SC you cant really "lose" your ship. We have Arena Commander atm which allows you to fly your ship around and dogfight other players without risk of wasting all the money you spent, your ship just respawns after you die. Once the game goes live and is fully released however and we have the Persistent Universe, if you dont have Insurance on your ship, you will lose it once it is destroyed in space. (if you buy an Aurora package right now it comes with some insurance, so no need to worry). Hope this helped
  9. 1010 Active users now for F@H! This is so great Thanks for contributing guys.
  10. To be fair, SC is in Alpha stage so hardware requirements will go up/down depending on what updates are put in place so nothing can be set in stone. CIG cant put a hardware requirement on their game as of now. If a person who pledged for SC cant run the game, but bought a package expecting to be able to at this time, then it is their fault for not properly researching and/or making sure their hardware can keep up with a game before purchasing it.
  11. The SC subreddit has lots and lots of videos cataloged here that can help you in learning to pilot your ship well: https://www.reddit.com/r/StarCitizenTraining/ Other than that, i would recommend just practicing Vanduul Swarm for a while until you get the hang of the game, but there is no stopping you from trying out Multiplayer and Battle Royale! Have fun man See you in the 'Verse
  12. Oh really? i did not know this. Well then there you go!
  13. Maybe not for a while, there are no ships currently flyable (i believe) that have any Size 4 mounting slots sooooo with that said there is really no reason to have any S4 Gimbal Mounts.
  14. The Size 2 weapons do look a little lackluster by themselves, but when considering how many of them there are (x4 plus the 2 on the turret) AND the beefy S5 gun mounted on the front the Vanguard packs a giant punch. It looks fantastic either way Definitely going to be a scary sight in the PU.
  15. Oh man im jealous, fantastic ship indeed
  16. Vessel name: SynapseBreak https://www.vessel.com/videos/LCoY5zfFf https://www.vessel.com/videos/Yj4PbcgKj
  17. Tbh, Mustangs are made of paper at the moment, Auroras are a bit more sturdy, especially the LN. Also remember if you are planning on keeping either one for the long haul until the release of PU, the Aurora has more utility in cargo space.
  18. Most of the time when playing Vanduul swarm or Squadron battle when new entities load into the map i freeze up a bit. But this goes away rather quickly, still annoying though.
  19. Bro Diet and Cardio are everything, you are gonna give yourself hell if you dont cut bad unhealthy foods out of your life because it will be harder to lose weight. So go for a run in the morning and be consistent with exercise and diet and you'll do fine bro
  20. Although Reddit is different in that any comment that is completely out of line or is not contributing to positive discussion can be downvoted, and thus its a cleaner place and an easier way for content creators (Like TB) to honestly hear what their fans think in an appropriate (and mature) manner.
  21. Hey man! Its awesome that you are contributing Dont worry buddy, you are part of the team. You can use http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/ to check for personal as well as team stats that are updated more regularly than the F@H Stanford site. 22. OP, right now there is only two parts of Star Citizen released, a Hangar module (where you can walk around and view your purchased ships) and a Dogfighting Module (Where you can pilot certain ships and shoot players down), much more is scheduled for release this year such as the FPS portion. However understand that right now all you CAN do is dogfight, and if that is not your cup of tea, you may not have very much fun in SC at the moment, this is all preference though. Down the road when the PU (MMO part of the game) is released, you will be able to Mine, Pirate, Dogfight, Spy, Transport Items, and do many other things, and this may be more fun to you (It is to me) than dogfighting. So if you dont like dogfighting it might not be best to back right now, maybe wait a little bit and see how the other parts of the game turn out and then see if you like the gameplay? Also understand that the official release is in 2016 and you would be waiting quite a bit. I am a die hard Chris roberts fanboy so i backed even though i dont like dogfighting too much ;p so take that as you may. See you in the Verse!
  23. All of you guys are awesome for donating so much extra computing power, this week especially It is very admirable. <3
