  1. The temps were measured using Corsair iCue and MSI afterburner, right now I was playing BFV and it was comfortably hanging out around 50 C. the power settings are on "Ultimate Performance" The only other people on google who had this problem were people with laptops and solved it with the power setting but im using a desktop. it is also only utilizing 20% cpu when in MW. This just started happening recently. I will clear the cmos and get back to you
  2. Whenever I launch Cod MW my computer gets reallllyyyy slow. I checked the clock speed and it said 0.78 ghz and it usually runs at 4.5ghz. This only happens when I play MW and not any other demanding games. Even after I close MW it is still somehow locked to 0.78 ghz until I restart my computer. I googled it and couldnt find a solution so I am asking here. PC Specs: i7 8700k 1080ti 16gb DDR4 3200mhz cas 14 850w psu all watercooled and never exceeds 60 C
  3. I have mine set to 5 ghz also and i dont know the voltage, but some of the cores are anywhere from 1 - 8 degrees higher than the others and my house is at like 75 F. my cpu is at 30 - 40 celcius so id say youre getting normal temps
  4. I picked up the HS70 at Best Buy today and my friends on discord say my microphone is quiet and muffled. I tried adjusting the recording device settings on windows but its already at 100%. However, when I speak, windows barely picks up the microphone. I cant find any settings in Corsair iCUE that can change the voice settings other than the microphone slider which is also at 100%. There is also white noise in the background that is noticeable. I believe the mic audio is being compressed. thanks
  5. pump is only at 1900 rpm out of 2800 "performance" setting
  6. So I recently started mining bitcoin with my 1080ti and 8700k rig. I disabled CPU mining because it wasnt worth the miniscule amount of bitcoins i would get from it. When my PC is not mining, im usually playing demanding games. Idle temps of my GPU: 20-23 degrees celcius. Gaming (PUBG, subnautica, etc.): 35-40 degrees (1933mhz) When im mining I usually hit around 50 degrees at 100% load. (Making around .00055 bitcoins a day). Am I in risk of shortening my GPU life? GPU: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/hydro-gfx-gtx-1080-ti-liquid-cooled-graphics-card Yes its watercooled and sec c af My 8700K at 4.7ghz idles at 25-30 degrees and under load is at maybe 45 degrees if anyone wants to know
  7. its cheaper because its worse quality and the software is pretty bad, also its not always the performance that is advertised imo
  8. H115i has better performance over the h100i v2 but is louder, take a look at the H110i. the NZXT is crazy expensive, today I bought the h100i v2 because its 85$ on newegg
  9. The budget isnt a huge issue, I work a lot and can afford it, was more just wondering if I should wait for something better
  10. also getting 2 more 144hz monitors is a lot cheaper than a 3440x1440p monitor although that would look beautiful
  11. same price but nah, plus msi and corsair are my two favorite brands
  12. Currently I run games like PUBG, Squad, and bf1 at 40fps on low, I want a more updated build that will last me through college for gaming and engineering stuff. obviously the fps I get in games will become lower over time as games look better but I think it will still be running good after about 5 years
  13. I heard that the 2080 will be 32% better than the 1080ti. Nothing is confirmed of course
