I would also point you to the following thread:
Seems the consensus is to just use the 522.25 drivers.
-
I dont think that this is a hardware issue. Sounds like maybe run the DDU and install the latest drivers and try it again.
-
Agreed, there are far fewer issues with some older games on 522.25. Anything newer than that driver causes Forza Horizon 4 to crash about every 30 minutes. The latest driver causes it to crash every 5-10 minutes, even though it was supposed to fix the crash issues.
Tried DDU, safe mode install, pretty much every technique and none of it works. -
Forza Horizon 4 crashes hard on any driver newer than 522.25.
-
Have you tried resetting the driver verifier?
Open an elevated Command Prompt. type cmd.exe in search, right click CMD and select "Run as Administrator:.
Type "VERIFIER /RESET"
Reboot the PC, and test.
-
1) click here:
2) then here:
3) search "sound output" and select "Choose your sound output device":
4) select the correct output for your speakers / headphones from the list:
That should get your sound up and working again. Keep us updated

Quick question, would you prefer open back, or closed back? Open back headphones sound more spacious (this is a generalization), but generally lack bass when compared to most closed back designs.
My personal recommendation for headphones would be the Audio Technica ATH-M50x. It is very hard to go wrong with these headphones.

Open back design is a little more difficult, but I would have to go with the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro.

Hope that is a bit of help.

So I first heard the news via Upper Echelon Gamers
source:
From the Ubisoft TOS:
Source: https://legal.ubi.com/termsofuse/en-US
6. WHAT ABOUT CONTENT I MAY CREATE OR UPLOAD ON OUR SERVICES (UGC)? This Section explains the different types of content You may create, publish and share on our Services, and the related rights You grant to us and to other Users with respect to such content. In certain Services, You may create, upload, edit, modify, adapt, publish and/or submit names, images, designs, skins, photos, videos, maps, music compositions/sheets, streams, activities and other materials ( collectively, "User Generated Content” or “UGC”). You warrant that your UGC will comply with these Terms at all times, during and after its creation, and with any additional terms that may be applicable. This Section will continue to apply after any termination of your Account and/or termination or suspension of a Service.
This includes any Videos and Streams! So Twitch, and YouTube!
From Sections 6.1
Your use of Derived UGC. You cannot use the Derived UGC other than strictly pursuant to the Terms. We hereby grant You a non-exclusive and non-transferable personal license, revocable at all times, to use Derived UGC You have produced throughout the world and for the duration of Your use of our Services, solely in order to: record it on your console, computer, mobile terminal or any medium You use to access our Services, load it on our Services, and, share it with other Users on our Services.
So strictly speaking, per this section, you may NOT upload video content, or stream content to any other service other than UPLAY. This means that users of Ubisoft titles may NOT stream UGC to Twitch, or upload video content to YouTube.
From Section 6.2
6.2 UGC featuring your image. If Your UGC reproduces your image, You acknowledge that We have a right to use your image as part of our Services throughout the world in perpetuity. If Your UGC features the image of any person other than yourself, You warrant that You have received the permission of such person for the use of his/her image and You indemnify UBISOFT for any losses which We may incur in the event of a complaint, action or claim by such other person concerning the use by us of his/her image, derived from your UGC.
Per this section, if you stream or upload content that is then used by Ubisoft, and there is someone else in this content... you are taking responsibility for anyone elses image or content that may be in the video. (this could include background images, tv show playing in the background, etc. etc. etc. ?)
From Section 6.4 (part ii)
(ii) You warrant to us that UGC (a) does not infringe the Intellectual Property Rights or other rights of any third party, (iii) does not constitute an act of unfair competition and (b) does not require that We obtain further licenses from or pay royalties or compensation to or provide any attribution to any third parties;
So if you stream on twitch a Ubisoft game, and in the background you have music playing from a streaming service that you have a license to use (such as Epidemic Sound for instance). And Ubisoft uses your video in an ad... YOU have the rights and the License to use the service, but Ubisoft does not. So if Ubisoft gets sued for using the UGC, you are now LIABLE for this, and Ubisoft per the TOS can go after you for ANY damages.
--------------------------------------------------------------
There is more in this TOS that is very dangerous for any content creator. Take a few minutes to read through each section and realize that you must accept this TOS by August 12th, 2020... or your account will be closed, and you will lose all access to all Ubisoft content.

So, I have spent the better part of three weeks absorbing information about all the motherboards below the $250 mark. The ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus motherboard has a VRM that isn't quite as good as the Gigabyte X570 Elite (per Buildzoid and GN) and has Realtek LAN which is not as good as the Intel LAN that is included on the Gigabyte board. You are correct that the X570 Prime and ROG motherboards have a slightly better VRM package... However those boards are in excess of $300 USD.
-
Do you have a specific ASUS board in mind? I am looking for a very stable (read overkill) VRM without having to spend a lot of money on the motherboard... $200 - $250 USD is kinda the max I want to spend. Thanks!
-
So I have been rolling a first generation Ryzen system since day of launch... I have $2000 to spend on CPU / Motherboard / RAM / Video card. Storage, Case, PSU are already purchased.
Currently I am looking at the following:
AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.8 GHz 12-Core Processor
Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE ATX AM4 Motherboard
G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory
EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER 8 GB XC ULTRA GAMING Video CardThis is all well within budget, was curious if there are any other options that I should look at. Thank you

or if they don't have it I will have to wait and order...but r5 might not be a bad choice if I can come up with the money
Save from now until release. If you have the extra dosh, go for the faster CPU. If not - well you have what you need.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bKn2Gf do you recommend a 320 or 350 chipset for oc
A320 chipset is incapable of any overclocking. B350 chipset has overclocking abilities, but is unable to do XFire / SLI, X370 can do all the things...
This memory is on the QVL memory list certified up to the 2666 speed.

I'm hoping its just my cpu ......my cpu in game runs at 100% out of game it runs at 2% so I know I'm bottle necking it but hopfully getting a new cpu fixes the problem
That is exactly what is happening...

correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't this card alredy have a slight oc or are those numbers what I could go to
With nVidia, you can basically set power, and heat overheads, and let the card clock itself as high as it can go. Since you do not have any way of feeding the card more than 75 watts... it probably wont do much over what it is already clocked... and yes it is already overclocked from EVGA.

ok would it be smart to oc my gpu eventhough it only runs off of the mobo slot and not an extr pcie cable
https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=04G-P4-6255-KR
With any OC, yes it may take more power than the PCI-E slot can provide - in which case the GFX card will become unstable. Only thing that you can do is try.

or what mobo for over clock ...........also I have a question on my gpu to if your not busy
Motherboard isnt going to really be the deciding factor in OC. That would be the CPU.
Whats going on with your 1050?

wait link I didn't see it I didn't look through every thing could you link the pc part picker list or a list......and I would like 3000 ram for that extra frame rate boost
http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/AB350M/#Memory
Check the QVL memory modules - make sure that you read the notes. You wont be getting 3000 speeds from this chipset - you will need to move up to the X370 chipset for that. Which, I know is not in your budget. 2666 memory is going to be your best bet.

also I would be doing any steep oc maybe to like 3.3/3.4 on the 1200
Considering that the turbo clock is 3.4, I don't personally think that it would be an issue to push to that point. Depending on the chip you could go faster, maybe slower. Pre-review samples have clocked pretty well.

ok heres another thing could I oc with that mobo and remember the mobo has to be micro atx
Yes you can overclock with the B350 chipset. The motherboard I linked is a mATX motherboard.

Depends if he wants to overclock. That's another reason it's important to wait though. While the multiplier is unlocked, the R3's may not be capable of significant overclocking. Ryzen hasn't been very good at OC'ing so far. With the binning process, it's plausible that they can't be overclocked more than 100MHz.
But even if he keeps your motherboard, it's like $10 more for 3000MHz RAM, which would increase the frame rate quite a bit. Infinity Fabric runs at the same frequency as the RAM.
Usually it is a good idea to stick to the QVL memory modules... especially with Ryzen being particularly picky about memory.

A cheaper motherboard for faster RAM would be a good trade-off. Some 3000MHz RAM would make a huge difference.
There is not a cheaper B350 chipset mATX motherboard...

Is anyone else having issues with nvidia's last 5 drivers
in Graphics Cards

I understand that all too well. RTX 4080 isnt a cheap GPU and I find it very irritating that nVIDIA has dropped the ball on the latest drivers.
