Ok, so I tried out the Intel Extreme Tuning utility and here are the results for my specific system. I was able to bump the multiplier settings for all cores up from 27 to 30 and it seemed to work fine under load. When I tried a multiplier of 31 my whole system locked up and blue screened once I put it under load. It seems to work fine for mild overclocks but you can't adjust the voltage so you can't go too far with it.

I have a dell precision T3500 with an Intel Xeon W3690. The processor is unlocked but the motherboard does not support overclocking. I heard that it would be possible to overclock my processor using the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and I was wondering if that was worth doing and if so, whether or not there could be any risks or downsides to using it. It would be nice to get a little extra CPU performance but I want to make sure that my computer stays reliable.

I updated my drivers and it worked! I now see almost 100% gpu usage.

Im currently running 419.35, I can try upgrading to 425.31 to see if that helps

Some other games wont use all of my GPU like GTA V which sometimes sits around 40-60% usage but that usage goes up when I increase the resolution and I'm also getting good framerates with no stuttering in that so it's not that much of a problem.

I recently got the Witcher 3 but I'm noticing that my gpu usage when running the game is very low (around 20%). On 1080p, medium to low settings I get around 50fps with lots of dips and stuttering. I don't think its a cpu bottleneck because my cpu only sits around 50% usage and when I try increasing the resolution my fps goes down and my gpu usage doesn't change much. Also, all of my components are running within their normal operating temperatures. Here are my specs; Intel Xeon W3690, 24gb ddr3 ram, 240gb boot ssd, 2tb 7200rpm game drive, evga GTX 1050ti, corsair 750 watt psu.

I have a pair of Senheiser HD 558's and am currently using a fiio k1 portable DAC/AMP combo which does a great job amplifying them but has some annoying static and crackling especially on quieter songs. I was thinking of upgrading it to a fulla 2 from schiit audio but was wondering if there were any better options at that price point.

I have a western digital black 1TB with over 60,000 hours on it that still shows up error free in crystal disk info.

I tried reseating the RAM sticks and it works now! Thanks for the advice!

The light is solid blue, I don't think it's a RAM issue considering it seems to post but I'll try swapping out RAM modules to see if that helps.

A friend of mine has a dell optiplex 990. Recently it started having this issue where it would turn on but nothing would show up (not even the post screen). He is currently using the motherboards integrated graphics that have a VGA port and a Displayport (both of which I tried). I also tried Hooking up one of my old graphics cards (GT 220) to see if that would help and it still didn't work. Also, I'm not familiar with Dell post codes but post code lights 1 and 3 were lit up (which I think means video fail or pcie fail but I'm not sure). Anyways, any help would be appreciated.

So this definitely the sketchiest computer setup I have ever helped create. One of my friends bought a Dell Poweredge R710 (Google search appliance) for $200 and also bought my old graphics card (Gigabyte GTX 950). The only problem is the R710 won't fit or power a graphics card like that, so we had too improvise...

Probably either a gtx 1060 or rx 580 would be the best
