  1. I edited it a little is this a better setup? I found an Nvidia 1060 slightly more expensive than AMD RX 480 but I think it has a better rep idk...It's a ZOTAC though. http://pcpartpicker.com/user/DevilGaleX/saved/vz4D3C
  2. I am going both gaming and studying Unreal Engine is my Engine of choice though I am considering changing to an SSD due to the fact this isn't gonna be a machine I am gonna keep in one place but I will be sure to have an outlet ready, I do intend to have it travel but I am worried about the cost of SSDs and I do need at least 250GBs of space for my projects. I always thought that Unreal Engine needs a pretty powerful CPU and a mid level graphics card.
  3. What I got so far is http://pcpartpicker.com/list/b9GXRG is there anything I should change?
  4. case is going to support the monitor Wouldn't need something like this if I could build a my own laptop/notebook but that seems impossible based upon what I googled thusfar
  5. Bolt to monitor to the case I am looking for the ability to build something I can take on the go even without a battery I will use a wall outlet if necessary
  6. What kind of monitor can I get that I can clip onto the case of my build I am planning, the case I have planned is the Thermaltake Core V21 MicroATX Mini Tower Case I want to be able to clip a monitor onto the case is there any monitors I can do with this or will I need to buy an accessory like a belt of some kind? reason why I have a feeling this may exist because I know that you can wall mount monitors.
  7. Ya know if Linus would test one of these machines out with an external GPU it would be fun to watch a few times
  8. I know you'd be lucky to find one used for 300$ (or I am searching in the wrong places) which is why I have concerns about the legitimacy of the product I also have a feeling given the site it may have pirated windows 10 and even be flooded with malware I do not have an issue with refurbished hardware as long as it's in good condition.
  9. The G+ communities state that the machine is real and does in fact have an i7 so maybe it is real that is why I am asking here too to make sure if I do grab one of these in the future and throw on an external msi card I won't run into trouble
  10. THIS IS NOT AN ADVERTISEMENT!!! I DO NOT OWN THIS PRODUCT I AM ASKING FOR HELP AT WHAT IT IS!!! DON't ASK ME WHAT THIS THING IS BECAUSE IDK AND THAT IS WHY I AM ASKING YOU GUYS!! I am confused as to that this is it's been eating at my sanity I can't sleep til I know wtf this is!! I know there is no way in hell this is a gaming PC so relax I know that gaming part in the description is fake however maybe external graphics might be an interesting solution to machines like these if they are legit and these are PCs that do in fact work and run intel i7s.... So you guys are the tech experts is this really a PC, and if it is a PC what is the catch the only one I noticed so far reading the specs is the fact that it has no graphics card only intel integrated graphics. PS: I didn't know where to post this I hope this location is ok Supposed Specs: Type:Mini PC Products Status:Stock Graphics Card Type:Integrated Card Hard Drive Capacity:250GB Processor Main Frequency:Max 3.3G Hz Use:Multimedia Memory Capacity:≥ 4GB Processor Brand:Intel Type:Mini Desktop Model Number:V2F Processor Model:i7 4650u CPU:I7 4650u Operating System:Windows 10/ Linux Memory:1*SO-DIMM DDR3L 1333/1600 Max 8GB Storage:MSATA SSD MAX 512GB USB:2*USB3.0+4*USB2.0 Video:HD Graphics 5000 Network:1000Mbps LAN+ 100 Dual antennas WIFI Audio:Azalia Codec support 2.1 channel out put Site of the strange Machines I am asking for help with: http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Mini-PC-4-Gen-Haswell-i7-4650u-MAX-8GB-RAM-512-GB-SSD-windows-10-linux/2338046_32709492144.html ========================================================================================== Webroot says the site is safe on my end I do not know about your ends please take caution when proceeding to check.
  11. I noticed that Nvidia 950GTX is becoming behind in specs and I don't wanna be too far ahead in specs but I don't wanna be too far behind when I am creating my game. I want to know should I upgrade graphics to AMD RX480 ( I don't want to pay too high a price for my graphics I like it cheaper), leave it be,or start from scratch? Specs- Graphics card = Nvidia 950 GTX, Processor = AMD FX Black Edition 6 core 3.5GHz I think 4.0GHz overclocked, Power Supply = EVGA B600,Ram= 8 GB (cant remember the brand I dont think it matters), My HDD =WD I think green??? it's 1TB, and the case is antec tho slightly busted up but the hardware inside is not damaged just needs cleaned. 1. Budget & Location: My budget is around 550$ My local currency is USD. 2. Aim: My aim is to just tinker around with game design with Unity and Unreal Engine (not sure which tool I plan on using I am leaning towards Unity because I heard there is less of a learning curb)I have zero interest in VR its a gimmick I will see dead as fast as motion controls lost relevance in the gaming industry I would like my build to be able to handle any game that isn't VR that way my machine can handle the project I am working on so far my machine in it's current state can handle most any games it does struggle with handling RWBY Grimm Eclipse and maybe Dark Souls 3 as well(never tried Dark Souls 3 on my machine yet) if I play it more than an hour. 3. Monitors Just a cheap 99$ walmart element HDTV 4. Peripherals I have both windows 7 and 10 but if I need to switch to linux I will do that as well but not yet. I already have all my accessories like keyboard, mouse,OS, and ETC. 5. Why are you upgrading? To make sure my hardware isn't too far behind and can handle creating and alpha testing games I am however not using this for Beta Testing.
  12. it looks like a golden chocolate bar canz i haz it?
  13. I have very limited income I make slightly more than minimum wage but not enough for an iphone or a galaxy S. Can people here say their favorite budget phones that can handle most mobile games. Must be 150$ or lower to be considered budget but even if it's not budget feel free to chime in your opinion I like seeing what people like to use especially when mobile hardware is much more of a mess to understand than PC hardware because even if I don't understand with PC I can easily look up hardware on partpicker or google it to see if its worth the money but phones are alot more tricky so I am asking you guys for help >< If it's budget please color the name of the phone in red if its not budget do green please (forgive me if I accidentally put this in the wrong section looking for opinions on phones and which one I should get)
  14. I hate when that happens the CPU coming to life and running off with my PC dang what terrible luck I have -__-
  15. yeah I agree lets not start another AMD vs Intel war please lmao
