Is the whale ticket still going to be a thing? Also if I were thinking about getting a whale ticket, but also wanted to bring my s/o who definitely will not want a whale ticket is that something that would make sense in terms of seating etc?

Hey all, Was just wondering if this amount of pump noise was normal, and if so, whether a DDC etc. might be quieter. @Gershy13 I don't know if you've solved this, but that noise is almost certainly coming from your RAM.

Yes, the backpack would be heavy, but not enough I think for it to become a very large issue. You're probably right about the amount of time for gaming, so I've done some research and decided on a couple things: First, I can buy batteries separately and use this DC-DC PSU as going from DC to AC and back seems wasteful. I'm also probably just going to ditch the case entirely and build a custom frame around the PC, which should save some weight and effort.

So I'm thinking about building a backpack PC to run for VR: The parts list looks something like this: With a vive as the main monitor (hopefully I won't have to connect it to my monitors to set it up every time >.>). My main question was how long I would be able to run the whole system on a battery like this one. Any other thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sauyon
