Ryan-Simpson got a reaction from DoctorNick in Any AMD users care to share the experience with the cards so far?
I'm thinking about getting the 5700xt but I have heard that the drivers aren't that great. I want to get the opinion of the users that actually own and run the card. So any issues to report?

If you can live without the mass storage drive id say don't buy one. but if you have one just add it couldnt hurt. And the life of an ssd isn't really a huge factor. Even with a shorter lifespan then an hdd you'd probably ugrade it before you even reach it's end.

I would run your C drive on the SSD and just have your 1TB HDD as a storage drive for non mission critical data.  Depending on what operating system you are using, you can chang the location paths of your media folders (i.e. your music, videos, donloads and so on) to your storage drive to keep space on the SSD.

It is important to back up your important data on an external media, so just do that and dont think of failers so much.

Depending on what you are doing, most people get by on 256GB drive just fine.

The 850evo has great performance and is normaly the best price per GB, unless a deal is on.

SSD are so much faster.  you will never go back once you use one.

    Hope that helps

I don't think you can use your current RAM with Skylake CPU's.

i might be wrong but i think you need DDR4 RAM and your current RAM you want to use is DDR3.

    Just a heads up

Utter rubbish you wont damage anything running Prime95. If anything due to Intels HT you should run two copy's of Prime95 to fully stress it. Prime95 will stop work on a thread that fails its calculations before damaged is caused. the more likely thing to happen is for the PSU to cause the damage.

Take everything out the case and strip it down to bare minimum. so no GPU, 1 RAM DIMM populated (just the absolute bones for it to function) see if you crash/ turn off then.

I would be stunned if you did not have any issues at all on the PS3/Xbox360, its pushing that hardware to its limits. Hell, it will be pushing the XBone and PS4 to its limits. Its more than likely not coming out on PC until Jan so that console users will not cry when they see how well it performs on PC and how much better it looks because they will have all finished the game and probably moved on to something else by then
