  1. but why when I change the multiplier to other values like x42 x43 it doesnt show that? It will still show only x40 in CPUZ. The frequency only changes when the bus speed is changed.
  2. so its not that my CPU have any problems right
  3. but thing is its set to auto when the multiplier values are different like i mentioned
  4. no idea why I cannot change the value to 0 its only 1 or AUTO
  5. so does the multiplier values actually make a difference in games?
  6. ohh so if i want the multiplier to be the same what should i set the value at?
  7. So should I even alter the AVX option or shld i just leave it alone?
  8. what is the AVX ratio setting in bios called?
  9. Hi I have a Asus X99 A-II motherboard and a I7 6850K Recently I have been trying to overclock my CPU and have no idea why when I change my voltage and all that stuff my CPU will still show that my CPU multiplier is set to 40 when I set it at 42 and have ran prime95 and still at 40. And the weirdest part is when I set my CPU multiplier to SYNC ALL CORES option, the speccy application will show that only my core 0 is running at x40 while the rest is all at x38. Why is that so? Shouldnt it all be at x40? Please guide me thanks.
  10. I just reapplied my thermal paste and make sure its secured to CPU but now my CPU is runningat 88 degrees at bios and wont even boot
  11. I did applied Artic Cooling MX4 thermal paste and the block is mounted yes and fans are connected to my fan hub.
  12. Hi. I have a i7 4790K and a Asus Maximus Formula 7 motherboard cooled with a Corsair H100i V2. I recently realised that my temps for my CPU at IDLE speed with NO overclocking is crazy high at 55-60 degrees. I lived in Singapore with a weather of around 32 degrees but even so I dont think the CPU temps should be at 60 degree IDLE right? And does few bend fins on the cooler affects performance? This is the 2nd H100i that i RMAed already...
  13. I just set all the timings to auto and voltage to auto too and it boots at a stable 2133. So should be fine right?
  14. I found out the problem.. It was my CMOS ran out of battery... Anyways if i Wanna over clock my ram now can I put all the timing and voltage to auto and just select the ram speed to be 2133?
