sorry, let me make sure I have this right. are you complaining that hardware reviewers are going to be worried about publishing accurate data?

GN did act professionally, and asking for an interview on LMG's terms only would have benefited LMG, which is of course what Linus wants for his company, he wants to have control and doesn't like it when people criticize his company even when its to do better, he took it rather personally with the backpack warranty and he's taking it personally again.
 
I think people are already terrified to speak up and tell their stories, given that LMG is a large company, and has lots of fans to defend them and deny LMG of any wrongdoing.
Even though GN didn't ask, calling out LMG is good for the community because now we can expect LTT/LMG to improve on things, not just saying they care about input from the audience as they've said before when people on the forums point out mistakes.
 
GN did act for the good of the consumer, as consumers we should want LMG to provide detailed accurate info, and if you think GN did it for the clout you're missing the point, the sub count and views are likely only short term, people will forget this issue and still watch LTT content.
I think GN is risking sponsorships that may also sponsor LTT/LMG, and possibly risking long term viewers that also watch LTT content because he called out LTT, I would expect some of those angry viewers to unsub and no longer watch GN's content.

The Jeremy Kyle show and Jerry Springer bring the worst examples of humanity on stage to mock them publicly. 

GN's pointed out factual errors and the mishandling of the billet situation. Please don't compare the two, it makes you look extremely silly.

 

Alright that's it. I'm unsubbing from YT and cancelling my FP subscription. After going through Madison's tweet, now I know for certain that I CANNOT support you guys in good conscience. Good luck dealing with the fallout I guess.

Buying something labelled PCMR is cringe. Selling it doubly so. It signals to me two things:
you didn't do your research to understand where that term originated from and that it actually makes fun of PC elitists. you have no qualms using right-wing extremist rhetoric. Regarding that second one, your knee-jerk reaction might be "but it's just a joke". To which I say, sure thing buddy, until it isn't. Because people who actually use that rhetoric sincerely don't see your use of it as "ironic", they just see increased acceptance of such beliefs and feel emboldened to act on those beliefs, if they see enough "ironic" support.

And you also completely missed what the person was asking also.  
Like, yeah, Linus isn’t wrong, but that’s not what the person was saying, asking, or insinuating.  

It was simply about inclusivity and feeling like they weren’t alone, especially considering that the YouTube tech space is basically represented by straight dudes.  They weren’t saying that a gay content creator is better than a straight one.   

Upgraded my PC.  Still using the same PSU, GPU, storage, and case for now.  Def want to upgrade the case 100%.  But I got a Ryzen 5 7600X, so I'm on AM5 now, got 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and an Aorus mobo.  Also the cooler looks dope AF imo, and I'm not usually a fan of giant air coolers, but the AK500 looks sick IMO

Alright, thank you!  Just wanted to make sure if I needed to upgrade my PSU or not, it's been more than enough since I first got it and didn't really want to have to upgrade it if I didn't need to.

They weren't protecting terrorists.  They'd have to build a backdoor into every iPhone, not just that single phone.  (Linus even explained this once on the WAN show).  They were protecting all their other customers.
As for the rest, I can completely agree.
