Two 970's or a single 980?

Thats a hard choice. On one hand 2 970s is most certainly more powerful than a single 980 but barely any games are going to have support for it especially since they were just released a few days ago. On the other hand a single 980 is going to be cheaper draw less power and have better support for games. Maybe get a single 970/980 now and add a 2nd one later once support becomes better?

I've thought about that, I want to push to M-itx its just that is LGA 2011-3 ever going to be in the mitx form factor? Doubt it. So I may order one 980 tonight, then in a few months order another.

It won't be anytime soon. But EVGA has that MATX motherboard thats 2011-3.

Yeah, i'm still debating weather to go to 6+core intel processors or not.

Are you really going to use all that power?

You know that's my point of view. Am I really going to need 6 or more cores of power? Probably not, plus the current DDR4 ram is pretty bad IMO and i'd rather wait for it to get better.
