  1. I just want to say this here because I know nobody reads the yt comments. Probably make the video seem different from the old $69 pc by looking at the thumbnail. I kept seeing and not clicking because I thought it was just the old video.
  2. Also I'm stupid and forgot to mention that it's a hdd laptop, not solid state.
  3. Yeah the title basically is it, they are about 10" apart with many cables in between along with a steel water bottle. I assume it's ok, just want to be sure I'm ok.
  4. Yeah. She is 92 and it would be tough to switch her over, but with the end on the horizon for win7 ill just have to try. Thanks for the help.
  5. Oh, am I screwed or can something be done?
  6. So I have been tasked with getting a relative a new pc, she is older and it needs to be windows 7. For simplicity I bought a new i3 Acer TC-780 and cant get the installer for win7 to work. I have a real iso and put it on the flash drive with rufus and it even works on other computers but on this acer it will load and say that windows failed to start (the installer will) with a 0xc000000d error and says it cant find boot config data. It will let me boot even with the error but the win7 start animation plays then it freezes.(I let it sit for over an hr) The pc I am using now does have extra sata ports open so I could put its drive in mine, install it, then swap it back but that would be a pain with the way its mounted inside the Acer. Is there any other way I can go about this? Something im missing? OS: Windows 7 (I wish) Mobo: The acer one it came with. (TC-780) Cpu: i3 7100 Ram: 8 GB of generic HDD: 1TB Seagate PSU: Acer generic Hair: Gone Thanks for help.
  7. do you have any other drives to try? probably not something you really dont want to loose
  8. Its happened to me before, it sat on a table for about 3 hrs. Totally dead.
  9. Do you need the files off the hdd? Try plugging it into another sata port. If that doesn't work try another computer. If THAT doesn't work your drive may be bunk from static electricity or something to that extent.
  10. hmmm that didn't work, anything else
  11. yeah i know i should but i dont want to loose files
  12. ****! its back, i had uninstalled it but now even though its UNINSTALLED! its still coming back
  13. do you know how to do that, or a tutorial to send me?
