  1. I'm pretty sure it's not specifically made for videos. I agree with you that it's just a piece of decoration, but I don't know how to look it up, what to put on google, or how to explain it to someone..
  2. I mean the decoration thing behind the Ryzen 3 chips I want to use it in my videos too
  3. I use an old computer I have as a NAS to offload files, like footage from past YouTube videos etc. The server is connected to a gigabit switch, that is connected to a pair of gigabit power-lines, that connect to another gigabit switch, that THEN connect to my computer's gigabit Ethernet port. Even though I get much better speeds than I used to, (used to be about 5MB/s, now it's 15-20MB/s) it's still not gigabit. All the cables are Cat. 5e, checked. NAS hard drive is 7200rpm with write speeds over 120MB/s. Memory and CPU not maxing out when transferring. As it is usually advised, I tried transferring large files, because that's when it gives its "best", and that's usually the case, large video files (not 8K RED RAW, but you know ). What else can I do to test it? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  4. I've been looking for this.. thing, the guys over LTT use in their video, and I don't know how to search for it on google, amazon etc. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance
  5. I've seen many YouTubers saying this is the best mouse for editing and stuff. I haven't had the chance to hold it in my hand, so I don't know if the buttons on the side are comfortable for me. Maybe the side scrolling would be helpful, but I guess you're right.
  6. Hello everyone. I just found a deal on Amazon for the MX Master. Currently I have the R.A.T 3, I've had it for a few years, and I really like it. I mainly use my computer for gaming, but I recently starting video editing, photoshop etc. Would the MX Master be an upgrade or just a waste of money? Thank you in advance
  7. I found it on Amazon, for 300 pounds.. Do you guys think I should buy it?
  8. That's great.. I'm basically looking for it since it is the only truly black and red ASUS motherboard, full ATX, with the 1150 socket.
  9. Guys! Help! (especially the Greek guys in the here) I am trying to find the ASUS Maximus VII Hero, but it's nowhere to be found! Did they "give up" on the LGA 1150 socket? I can't get a hold of them, and I think I've looked everywhere. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you
  10. Thank you for your response! Very well thought out and simple. Thought, according to Gamers Nexus (GTX 1070 SLI Benchmark vs. GTX 1080, GTX 1070) two 1070 give very little boost over a single card. Plus, Jayztwocents' MSI card did worse in overclocking than the FE one. But I will definitely take your post into consideration!
  11. Hello everyone! I started writing down the parts that I will need for my new build, when I realized the new cards are going to come out. So now I'm redoing my excel/budget. I like the design of the Founders Edition card, so I'm going to stick with that (maybe). I see here (in my country, Greece) that there is a listing for the ASUS 1080 Founders for 830€ while the EVGA one (which some people told me to go with) is 930€. Custom coolers, from different partners would be nice, like the MSI one, since I'm going for a red and black build (yeah, I know, so many of those), but that one is hitting the 1,000€ price point (on the head to be exact). I even thought about the EVGA FTW Edition, but that's not out yet, and the longer I stall the more complicated it will get. Plus, the white EVGA logo is pretty lame since the whole card is RGB. The ASUS Strix might be nice. (As you can see I'm really having trouble deciding, so much I even looked at the 1070s) The 1080 might actually be an extreme overkill for this system, since I'm only going to be powering 1 1080 ultrawide and another 1080 standard monitor, both of which are 60Hz screens, but I really want it to last, for some years, plus these cards are SUPER expensive! And if the prologue seems too much for you, here is the question! Are the ASUS and EVGA (or any other partner for that matter) Founders Edition GTX 1080 the same? Is one better than the other in terms of quality or anything else? Thank you for any feedback!
  12. I had deiced that from the 760 I have now, even one Titan black would be a great update, and well, two would be even better. But... Well there go the Titans! 980 it is!
  13. The cheapest I can find the 980 is 525€, which is alright, considering that everything computer related can be super expensive. What you say is that the 1080 will also be around that price, not 800 or more? Unless the price for the 980 and 970 drops about 300€, I really don't see that happening. And, if it's not too much trouble though, could you tell me when are we expecting pascal to come out? Thank you.
  14. The new ones will be hell of expensive though, no?
  15. I am planning a whole new system. Up to today I was set to an i7 4790K, the GTX 980, an ASUS Z97 Pro Gamer, Corsair Vengeance RAM and a 750W Corsair AX PSU. I will have to figure out if I am going to get the two Titans and I guess reconsider the power supply. What would you suggest? Plus, I just asked him if he has the actual reference coolers, because that's what I am looking for, maybe actually painting them, like Linus!
