    1440p monitor

Yes "PJ", they are good, but the viewing angles are catastrophic. If youre also to watch videos etc. on it then better get an IPS already. If TNs were better than IPS alltogether, they would not cost as low. At the latest, IPS monitors even have a combinedly lower response lag than equivalent TN monitors (see the video from 5:16 onwards to see the difference). So yeah, IPS wipe the floor with TNs today. In other news listen to Linus from 07:05 onwards. Large paneled displays like 27" who are meant to bring joy are to be IPS, VA or PLS, not TN.

for Nvidia graphics I would recommend the AOC Agon AG271QG. It has also Nvidia Gsync technology support for smoother gameplay experience, if you're a gamer it's a must. If you can not find the Aoc Agon, then a good alternative is the: Acer XB270HU bprz or the Acer Predator 271HU bmiprz or the Asus ROG Swift PG279Q ------------------------------------------- for AMD Graphics If you posess a newer AMD graphics card though, i would choose a monitor with AMD Freesync (the alternative to Gsync). These monitors are somewhat cheaper to get. Recommendation for the: Acer XF270HU bmijdprz. The alternative would be the Asus MG279Q ------------------------------------------- P.S. TN panels are trash, you must sit 1:1 in front of it for smooth experience. Dont get fooled by their low prices. In regards to quality, the best panels would be fast VA panels but IPS panels are at least better than TN panels. AOC is a taiwanese electronics manufacturer just like Asus and Acer, it uses the same IPS Panels from AU Optronics just as the newer displays of Acer and Asus do). Asus has according to internet opinion the worst Quality Control process so a lot of their monitors have backlight bleed, dead pixels etc. Acer is a bit better according to rumours. AOC Agon on the other hand is just beginning to take off and they wouldn't want to start with a bad product launch so their product Quality Control in the factories might be on a higher level than Asus/Acers atm. Anyways if somethings wrong turn to the return policy of the shop or the manufacturer of the monitor.
  4. In Germany and/or Austria you have usually a 2 week return right, for anything sold over the internet. Sometimes even you have got a 30-day return warranty.
  5. My current monitor is the BenQ GW2760HS, so to step up I would probably need at least 1440p and higher refresh rate to top it. Hope the response time will not be a problem. Is GSync a must with 120 or 144Hz.. on the other hand does it bring anything better on 60Hz ? **lurked out couple of candidates A̶S̶U̶S̶ ̶R̶O̶G̶ ̶S̶w̶i̶f̶t̶ ̶P̶G̶2̶7̶8̶Q̶ ̶(̶2̶7̶"̶ ̶T̶N̶,̶ ̶G̶s̶y̶n̶c̶,̶ ̶1̶4̶4̶H̶z̶,̶ ̶1̶4̶4̶0̶p̶,̶ ̶1̶m̶s̶)̶ ̶D̶e̶l̶l̶ ̶S̶2̶7̶1̶6̶D̶G̶ ̶(̶2̶7̶"̶ ̶T̶N̶,̶ ̶G̶s̶y̶n̶c̶,̶ ̶1̶4̶4̶H̶z̶,̶ ̶1̶4̶4̶0̶p̶,̶ ̶1̶m̶s̶)̶ ̶A̶c̶e̶r̶ ̶P̶r̶e̶d̶a̶t̶o̶r̶ ̶X̶B̶2̶7̶1̶H̶U̶A̶b̶m̶i̶p̶r̶z̶ ̶(̶2̶7̶"̶ ̶T̶N̶,̶ ̶G̶s̶y̶n̶c̶,̶ ̶1̶6̶5̶H̶z̶,̶ ̶1̶4̶4̶0̶p̶,̶ ̶1̶m̶s̶)̶ ̶B̶e̶n̶Q̶ ̶X̶L̶2̶7̶3̶0̶Z̶ ̶(̶2̶7̶"̶ ̶T̶N̶,̶ ̶N̶O̶ ̶G̶s̶y̶n̶c̶,̶ ̶1̶6̶5̶H̶z̶,̶ ̶1̶4̶4̶0̶p̶,̶ ̶1̶m̶s̶)̶ ̶A̶c̶e̶r̶ ̶P̶r̶e̶d̶a̶t̶o̶r̶ ̶X̶B̶2̶8̶1̶H̶K̶b̶m̶i̶p̶r̶z̶ ̶(̶2̶8̶"̶ ̶T̶N̶,̶ ̶G̶s̶y̶n̶c̶,̶ ̶6̶0̶H̶z̶,̶ ̶2̶1̶6̶0̶p̶,̶ ̶1̶m̶s̶)̶
  6. Looking for a good and not-so-expensive monitor to match my GTX 1070 in the range of at least 27", resolution of at least 1440p and a refresh rate of at least 120Hz. Possibly under 500-600$ Sadly I'm in Europe (no newegg access) but I'll manage somehow.. The PG278Q is great but a bit over the limit.
  7. Thanks for the tipps, but I'll stick with the LP53, cause I ordered one.
  8. Evo shouldn't fit in my case. Pure Rock shouldn't also fit in my case. I think ill just go with the Cooltek LP53, nothing much left to discuss here.
  9. Greetings, im looking for an alternative cooler to my Intel i5-4690@3.5Ghz (84W TDP) stock cooler which is screwed up at the mounting pins and it does not cool optimally. The case is SG13 (inspired by Linus). Mainboard H97M-ITX/ac. Psu Corsair SF600. 16gb 1600 ram. One smaller SSD and one larger HDD. MSI GTX 970. The case allows up to 61mm in height for the CPU cooler. It has a standard.. (120mm?) chass fan mounted on the front panel. Wanted to buy Cryorig C7, but it is nowhere to be ordered in Europe/Germany (needs a couple of weeks or months to restock). 1.) Regarding Noctua L9i, i think it could be too weak for my rig. Dunno? 2.) Reeven Steropes? 3) Cooltek LP53 (Thermolab LP53)? 4) <Insert here>
  10. I modified the file like this.. did i do anything wrong (testing it out now in games..) ? GM204_home_modification.rom
  11. Greetings, heres default here is my MSI GTX 970 bios: *** GM204.zip *** In fact this is (according to the physical sticker on the graphic card in the pc, and its red color) a MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G. The card uses an 8pin+6pin powersupply. i wish it to be unthrottled, so it can run on a high OC without dropping in speed and just on supplied coolers (air). Would you please set me up a good and safe & high clocks combo which (fixed all three gpu clocks on same value like 1443 Mhz, fixed memory on 4000Mhz, adapted voltages to 1275mV and adapted power) this card can handle ? Thank you.
