  1. Great review! The hard work you put into it is noticeable. It seems that you got the exact same configuration that I'll be getting, could you please clarify this? I phoned to the Lenovo line two times and they told me that a version of the laptop that didn't include any sort of ssd -that includes the optane or the ssd version- would not have the M.2 port. I'd understand if you don't want to check this in your own computer to not void warranty or any other shenanigans that Lenovo could use if by any chance the equipment had problem -let's hope not!-, but building two separate motherboards just for this detail sounded wrong to me. Does, in fact, your laptop comes without anything on the M.2 port, and if so, is the port still there? Thank you! Keep the reviews coming!
  2. woops, my bad, yeah mate, but i have to choose between those two. It's a matter of availability and work benefits.
  3. I think both of them are smart.
  4. Hey guys, my old tv just got a lethal blow and i'm getting a new one. I can only go for one of these two options. What do you guys think?. 5. Thanks guys, you saved me a some cash in the power supply, much appreciated.
  6. I'm college, so i need a small, silent and budget build, with some tripple A gaming capabilities. I can't go more than maybe $550 american dollars, but i already have an ssd and a hdd, a windos 10 key, peripherials, and a 1080p monitor; and to save some more money, i was thinking of using the stock cpu coolers for now. This are my basic ideas, but i'd appreciate any other suggestion you guys may have. For the intel option we have: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/cYKr2R CPU > Intel - Core i3-8100 3.6GHz Quad-Core Processor Motherboard > ASRock - Z370M-ITX/ac Mini ITX LGA1151 Motherboard Memory > Crucial - 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory Cooler Master > Silencio 352 MicroATX Mini Tower Case Power Supply > SeaSonic - 520W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply This amounts for a total of around $452.58 Pros: Cheaper. Cons: No room for future overclock and no dedicated videocard. <-Gaming will have to wait. For the AMD option we have: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/VsQJvV CPU > AMD - Ryzen 3 1200 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor Motherboard > MSI - B350M PRO-VD PLUS Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard Memory > Crucial - 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory Video Card > Zotac - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Mini Video Card Case > Cooler Master - Silencio 352 MicroATX Mini Tower Case Power Supply > SeaSonic - 520W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply This amounts for a total of around $515.28 Pros: Dedicated video card. Cons: Bit more expensive. Any ideas guys? I live in Mexico city so a fractal desing case is out of the question and i wont have acceses to all the options some of you may have.
  7. The SSD is just for store the games and maybe some programs. Noctua are not available where i live.
  8. Thanks man, i'll keep it mind when buying the parts. Much appreciated.
  9. I was thinking on using stock speeds anyways. So you would choose the Sapphire Nitro R9 390 instead? It uses a little more power than the Asus, with has a slightly lower clock speed; but on the flip-side, better price and a OpenGL 4.5 (don't really know if it worth it) and is like 20% cheaper. Thanks for the advice, it's been really helpful.
  10. Made some modifications considering local availability guys, what do think? 11. No Fractal Desing Cases where i live bro, also, why that CPU over the AMD one?
  12. Fractal Desing cases are not is not available here, that's why i went with a corsair. Also, two questions: Why this CPU over the AMD one, and why not dual channel RAM?
  13. So here's in my idea for a half decent build (first build): http://pcpartpicker.com/p/HhbBQ7 i didn't include a monitor cause i'll use my tv (1080p). My budget is around $1400 dollars, and i live in Mexico City, meaning some brands but not all, but i could order things from amazon or something. I'll use it mainly for gaming but i also wanna try some video editing in the future. Thanks in advance guys.
