  1. I used https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/communities/public/questions/203289988-GTA-V-PC-Logitech-G27-Supportthis too do it. It works okay, but the steering curve is not linear and it is extremely difficult to use. Also the lack of force feedback is an issue. I also recommend using the setting in advanced that removes the dead zone. It helps tremendously.
  2. no the 598's were 100 on black friday. Which I still punch myself for missing it.
  3. The modeling that they use is horrid and after only playing 50 minutes of the game I immediately got bored. I will eventually play through it, but as of right now it doesn't have much going for it. That said 10$ for a triple A title is pretty much a no brainer.
  4. I just wanted to say that if it wasn't for linustechtips I would have probably never got into PC's quite like the way I have. If I had not been searching around for the worlds most expensive headphone and found your video from ncix tech tips about the hd800, I would not be the tech guy I am today. All of my friends and family come to me anytime they need advice on what tech to buy next, and it is linustechtips that got me interested in the tech world. It was one of your very first build guides that I used to learn how to build a PC. Your video on ram that taught me how to properly use the bios. Your video on application of thermal paste, on and on and on. Now I have gotten to the point where I am learning things myself and building upon the skills you have taught me through every video. I still have a long way to go and am certainly not an expert, but I am making my way there. Also, this might seem a bit odd, but watching Linus's videos over the years and seeing how far he has come has been inspiration for my self. I was never particularly confident and seeing Linus who is a small nerdy guy, like myself, do so well and speak so well in the videos has inspired me to break out of my shell and have more confidence, especially seeing how far he has come from his original videos to now. I would like to personally thank Linus, Slick and the rest of linustechtips crew for all the videos they have made over the past 3 years that I have been subscribed. They have helped me in ways far more than you could have imagined.
  5. Devices: PC-LAN Laptop- wireless n x2 Laptop- wireless g Printer- wireless n? iPhone 5c- wireless n Oppo Find 7a- wireless n Router/Modem Combo- Arris dg860 Service- TWC Turbo 20/2 Problem: Father claims he had no issues with disconnecting until I moved in. I have my pc connected over LAN and my phone the find 7a wireless N. Frequently, when he reboots his computer the laptop (Wireless G) will not connect to the modem. Even after resetting the wireless adapter it no longer connects. I have to reset both the modem/router combo and the wireless adapter in order for his pc to connect. He is running an old acer aspire one laptop with windows 7 starter. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me figure out what is going on. I have no idea. I do have access to the router settings.
  6. that stuff is solid. If you use the proper brackets and mount everything properly then it isn't going anywhere. I had 2 tons of pressure (supplied by a bottle jack) on a 1.5" piece and it held up fine.
  7. You really just need a metal saw blade for a radial arm saw and you can cut through it easy. I ordered a bunch of stock when I did my capstone project in high school, and just cut it all myself.
  8. In the US this is called 80/20. I don't understand this product either. He really just precut a bunch of aluminum extrusion and included some custom stand offs. You could literally order this exactly from 80/20 and then buy/make some stand-offs for it. Edit: this has been stated before I didn't realize.
  9. Linus I may have found a good stand that might solve some of your problems with the shield tablet https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1812941009/hexama-pocket-sized-smartphone-stand-iphone-stand It is quite the cool product and I kick started it. Also this tablet is perfect for me. I have been looking for a tablet that offers more than just a bigger screen than my already big 5.5" find 7a. I wanted: more power, flexibility, good note taking, and better gaming experience. And that is what I get with this. Everything I wanted. I can plug my cm storm quickfire stealth in if I need to type some things up on Google docs. Or I can use the stylus to write some notes. And then pull out the controller if I want to do some old school Mario gaming or try out some new games. It is perfect for me in every way.
  10. Definitely the IPS and the signatures on the back are the best part of the notebook.
  11. My favorite thing about the g3 from the video is the emphasis on the screen with the super thin bezels. I have been running pie controls on my nexus 4 with a Custom dpi so that I don't waste a mm of my screen real estate. I also like the ergonomics of putting the buttons on the back. While I don't have the mashing volume button problem Pincus has I do really like the way it feels with the buttons on the back it also really lends itself to easier two hand use and quick one hand use. Good luck to everyone this phone looks like a keeper!
  12. exactly and just dye the frame and blades
