I know it's drastically more expensive, but the D15S keeps my 1700X cool at 1.4V

I'm sure there are coolers of similar price that make better contact, but the H7 is only godlike for the price on Intel.

Hey man, not gonna comment on the original question cuz it kinda depends on what you do with the PC, but I will say one thing: The H7 absolutely sucks on Ryzen. The thing couldn't keep my 1700X cool at stock and fails to make effective contact with any Ryzen IHS. I'd recommend something else if you plan on cooling an AM4 chip, especially if you plan to OC.

Your wife is not the worst. You're comparing your wife to the likes of ISIS or Adolf Hitler, and they're still not the worst.

PCPartPicker doesn't have any Z270F/H7 combinations, but it does have the 212 EVO and Dark Rock 3, both of which are larger in at least one direction than the H7. I'd say your fine. Only thing to keep an eye on is case clearance, but the H7 stands a whopping 145mm tall, and I have yet to find a non-crap brand case that it doesn't fit into somehow.
The H7 is designed specifically to not overhang RAM slots. No need to spend money on brand new RAM.

RAM is the easiest thing to upgrade. Get 16GB now, upgrade later if you need it (you probably won't)

you could even run a 6700 - it still has the same cores and threads as it's k sku counter part - just not overclockable

Well first off is the nvidia Ansel. You can take a pretty good snapshot of any supported game on any angle. That is a pretty neat feature especially if you are a youtube/twitch gamer and you need something like those for your thumbnail.

There might be, but you might have better luck with a group policy change if you have windows 10 pro. If you have windows 10 home, you can set your internet connection to "metered" in order to gain granular controls.

    Group policy you open
    gpedit.msc
    Naviagate -> Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Update
Locate the setting for "Configure automatic Updates" double click this
Select Enabled (I know counter intuitive)

Now select your automatic updating setting. I have mine on setting 2.

what else did you removed? Usually its the RAM when this happens. try to reseat the RAM or booting in one stick if you're on dual channel.

    1) you won't make any money doing it

    2) find a real job

    3) the market is already saturated with builders

    4) there are many other companies that buy bulk orders of parts and can undercut you by hundreds of dollars, so nobody will buy from you

    5) sorry, the truth is though, even linus has said these facts several times.
