  1. Unfortunately I don't think the PCIE and EPS(8 pin) are the same from my experience.. I found my Lenovo C30 had three 8 pin power connectors and the PCIE 8 pin cables from my spare standard modular psu did not fit as I had hoped (wanted to rule out the stock psu as being the issue) . Also see: https://superuser.com/questions/849265/is-there-a-difference-between-8-pin-eps12v-and-pci-e-connectors Guess it depends if those 8 pin are standard eps 8 pins..
  2. Bought an old dual Xeon workstation and replaced both CPUs for two Xeon E5-2670(from 2012). Games are much smoother, great performance for the price.
  3. T5500 with two Xeon X5670! (The 2nd CPU socket is on a riser board, a lot of them on eBay are only one socket ..be sure to buy one with two sockets) https://forums.anandtech.com/threads/what-were-the-best-lga-1366-workstations.2434197/
  4. Hi Why did yous not investigate what the bottleneck was?? At the moment my main computer has 2 Xeon E5450s (each quad-core - 3Ghz) with an RX 480 8GB ...I play Shadow of War, GTA5 etc with no issues, really smooth 1080p on ultra settings. What I'm going to get next is a Dell T5500 and put two Xeon X5670 (each hexa-core - 2.9Ghz) in it which will give me better performance and DDR3 (instead of DDR2). Anyway would have been interesting to know why it was awful at gaming, maybe for your next "old server build" you should use a T5500!
  5. Need an upgrade!! ..Looks awesome
  6. Would be awesome for split screen gaming!

  8. Thought I should update this. So bought the OnePlue One from Amazon luckily I got it with prime which I thought was strange, its the Chinese version with no CyanogenMod logo but CyanogenMod is installed. Happy with it so far class phone very responsive. ..no issues pairing with my pebble so far too Not sure why but the sticker from the phones box ..the OnePlus box was removed and the whole packaging itself was resealed, waiting for Amazon to get back to me about them two things very suspicious but its Amazon any issues come up I should be alright.
  9. yea I've heard people (even on here) complaining about CyanogenMod ..anybody know if that would be an issue?
  10. I've found it on here but not sure I wanna hand over £244 to this site http://www.eglobalcentral.co.uk/oneplus-one-16gb-sim-free-unlocked-silk-white-cyanogenmod-version.html ..if they take paypal might be ok
  11. I'd really prefer buy it from OnePlus ..but then again Amazon is pretty trustworthy hmm Thanks
  12. Need a phone ASAP, smashed my phone so I'm phoneless ..not good
  13. There are some on ebay I seen but I don't really want to get it from ebay in case it turns out to be a cheap copy or not legit. Yeah I did see that phone very good price for what you get(should be in my short-list!), think I'd prefer spend the extra for the Nexus 5 though
