I find it funny that people are arguing about gaming audio (aka shit bundled together stuff that is marketed to seem good) when there's better stuff out there. I mean, I can just at will either:

1: Get a amp, two bookshelf's, and a powered sub, and connect it together.

2: Get a small receiver, 2 bokshelf's, two rear's, and a sub, and connect it together.

3: Do either 1 or 2 and make my own sub, making the cost go down

4: Do 3, and make the rest of the speakers, and even possibly the amp/receiver (I'd just have to figure it out), making the cost go down even further.

    etc., and get better sound.

Maybe one of the speaker guys around here will be able to shed some light on what would work well for you.

One thing that I can comment on is that unfortunately you will not have an easy time switching between surround speakers and stereo headphones - you'll also need to switch the output mode in Windows from 5.1 to stereo/headphone mode, which requires either manual intervention or some kind of special software or drivers.

My other piece of general advice is that quality 2.0 or 2.1 for near-field PC listening will be better quality and value than a cheapo HTIB. So you might open up the field to bookshelf speakers. This will also make the job of switching between headphones and speakers easier as well.

Did a little work while i'm waiting for some small parts to get here. The drain is nearly done except for the male-male fitting still missing. Exiting right under the case, should make maintenance easier. I know the drain is a bit high on the loop but i hope to be able to get the level low enough to do gpu/cpu swaps.

The EVGA bridge used is a leftover from previous setup when the cards were actually EVGA   It also IMO the best looking, although the silver isn't matching anymore, some satin black fixed that.

Culturally Europe is a very large place. I don't think Scandinavia has a lot in common with countries in Balkan for example.
The same thing goes for the US. I once traveled from New York City to Mobil, and it felt like I had traveled across the world, culturally.

Europe is not a single country or single society, you wont get a answer to that and FYI we studied the internal differences in UK for a whole semester in my university class and we were only able to study about scottish people and english people, meaning that you wont get answer to that that easily or that fast.

The All-Powerful GTX 465s Have Arrived!

My GTX 465's story began fours short years ago when it rolled off the assembly line. Over the past four years I have gained an appreciation/obsession for the 465. It has found its way into everyone of my past and current systems. It has survived PSU meltdowns, overheating, and faulty motherboards. My 465 has been able to handle everything I throw at it (aside from minesweeper) with a fiery passion. I am attached to my 465 and all of its GF100 goodness.

But earlier this year I felt it was time for an upgrade. I asked the forum and what to do and nearly everyone said that I should buy a newer card. I took their advise and I purchased an MSI GTX 770.

I used the 770 for nearly three months, but I just wasn't happy with it. It performed too well. It was too quiet. It was too cool. It was too power efficient. It couldn't overclock. I hated it. I was fed up with it. At the end of June I gave it to one of my friends and I put my 465 back in my system. I decided that I needed to do something out of the the ordinary. @Lord Pantaloons and
@xTrekStorex inspired me to do something different (take a drive off the deep end). I purchased a 3-Way SLI capable motherboard and a 1300W PSU to that could bear the weight of running three overclocked GTX 465s.

Next I needed to track down two more 465s to accompany my 465. I had to scour ebay for other a month to find the correct cards. I managed to find two mint condition EVGA GTX 465 Superclocked cards. One with a high-flow bracket.

Earlier this morning I found a package on my doorstep containing the final 465. I was taken aback by the beauty that was now contained in my Source 210. My dreams have finally been realized.

    The Specs:
    AMD FX 6350 @5.02GHz
    NZXT Kraken x60
    Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5 rev 3.0
    G. Skill Ares 1866MHz CL9 2x4GB

    Sandisk Ultra Plus 64GB SSD
    Mushkin Chronos 240GB SSD
    WD Blue 1TB 3.5" HDD

Two of the three 465s had died by late 2016, presumably from all the heat. I replaced the 465s with a GTX 580 at that time and later added a second 580 for 2-way SLI. These are the last photos of the system I have before it was torn down in May 2017.
