I am reviving this old thread because I have the Gigabyte Xtreme for 2-3 days and while in stock clocks I get driver crash after playing Crysis 3 for an hour....
Unigine Heaven is stable for 3 hour as I ddidn't test it more.
Have you tried playing Crysis 3 while overclocked?
I wonder if I need to RMA the card or to just add some volts to the stock 1216 core
EDIT: To all you guys who have driver crashes with a Gtx 980 ti the prob is with your cpu overclock. Nvidia drivers seem to be very sensitive with the cpu overclock stability when a gtx 980 ti is loaded. I reverted my mobo and my 2600k (from 4,4ghz to 3,8ghz) to default and system is now super stable on crysis 3, Metro 2033 and other games on 1440p all very high. Using cpu stress test my cpu looked to be OK and temp was no more than 52 C using Thermalright Archon cooler.
I have to work around the cpu overclock little by little again.
