well.. it sounds like default display resolution is smaller than your current monitor resolution..  it's usually 1024x768

to solve it you will need a dummy plug.. hdmi or DP.. what you are using change it to what you want it to be.

I found this Thread Default display resolution on another forum on it.

if your afraid of LCD burn in, it doesn't realy matter on newer monitors.. they have tech to solve that problem.

Wow! Thanks so much! I would have never though that could be the issue.

I am currently using only HDMI.

Simple questions: How am I gonna be able to switch resolution with only a dummy display? Shall I buy a 4k dummy so it automatically sets up the Default Display to 4k? I'm a bit lost here.

    I've found this one:

    https://www.amazon.es/FUERAN-Plug-Virtual-Adaptador-3840x2160-60-3840x2160/dp/B0C174243H/ref=sr_1_8?crid=1AXDM5QZ2HRJX&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.S87P9WD7Gsebhebvpc7U_IEfX0Mf3vavqNLaB7O5Ycou7sF47nOTa0K4_Gw5-tpZfHcRDmsF0zjcoqum2X0xHABIKmRMIuqsldpxfjW_MsYTTrVAnh2dNXqCnLdBQxKbELFP7kx8ybDo0QHzRkdQ9_aDuZK2okw9fUifTywzaMRgIfXzn4lGcnGE1uroO_J7t2CXG0WwKHC_jBnLJ1jZKBhhC1RjJ1mJcMq4dWLJ4uhZ_W3eWaAwleCbkjccx71J0MPtOW6qOMDy_-Y7wIn-EXxvoFbc_NEmitxPbogw74I.QlwsmgDhZjzB2wAZ3zlFbbGBL5JdT98e0_eluqXN8pk&dib_tag=se&keywords=hdmi%2Bdummy%2B4k&qid=1708121825&sprefix=hdmi%2Bdumy%2B4%2Caps%2C79&sr=8-8&th=1

Then I found somewere else that there are virtual display drivers tha basically do the same trick without the need of a dummy connector?
    Thanks again!

I have a 1Password subscription for one year to giveaway, (I am actually a user and they kindly sent me the invitation to invite one friend for 1 year for free) Since none of my family members of friends are using or want to use 1Password, I though I could share it to someone interested.

There are several HDD Clone programs that can do exactly what you need.

Basically you need to have both HDD connected to the computer and the software does the trick.

Have a look at this page:

    Hi guys!

So many answers. Thank you!    Never had a FE so, I can't tell about the quality and noise, but Reviews I saw online, including Linus Tech Tips (was Luke reviewing it, isn't it?) Are so damn good in terms of termals and noise lvl's.

I am not really satisfied with my Zotac AMP! Extreme. it is powerful, but I have to say I had some issues with one particular DisplayPort Adaptor, but since I only use one monitor, wasn't a big problem, just changed to another one and problem solved. I also had so many crashes when OC the card even a little, and the way that the FAN stop and turn on when moving around a certain temp lvl is annoying. Really annoying. So, I probably won't go for Zotac again, I've lost some confidence with the Brand and probablu try the Strix, MSI's, or probably the EVGA, I like it a lot.

Will probably have to wait for the reviews and availability before deciding. But I will probably get a MSI Gaming Z (normal 1080) in Amazon and then return it. We have 2 months here for a complete refund, (even shipping) and probably buy the Ti in Amazon as well.

Thank you all for your answers!

Catalonia reacted to done12many2 in 8950k 4.3GHz OC Temp
A couple of things you might consider.  Go into preferences within AIDA64 and enable monitoring of your two other cores and you package temperature.  Right now it appears that you're only monitoring 4 cores and no package temp.

When you run AIDA64 as a stress test, only enable CPU, FPU, and cache tests otherwise you'll be cheating yourself with slightly lower temps.

As far as cache, yes, you should overclock it and yes, you'll need to adjust cache voltage to do so.  BWE is generally good for a 3.6 to 3.8 cache clock speed.  Keep in mind that when you increase cache voltage you can expect an increase in power drawn by the CPU.  More power drawn, more heat produced.  CPU cache overclocks increase memory bandwidth and lower latency.

Make sure that during testing you're running the fans in the configuration that'll you'll be using daily.  Set the fan curve to respond to CPU temps.  Don't just manually set them to max when you stress test because you won't know if the fan curve is set to adequately cool the CPU through the varying loads throughout the day.

I hope that helps a little.
