Wait for AMD's offering if in no hurry like you say. I know these are exciting times for the (desktop) PC and patience will be tested for a lot of us.

wadeak78 reacted to Megah3rtz in should I get the rx 460 2gb or it's 4gb variant?
RX470 would be a good compromise between GTX 1060 and GTX 1050 TI.
You can find them on sale sometimes for 150-160$ USD and they have 4gb minimum.

wadeak78 reacted to Imglidinhere in Gaming laptop on a budget
I can't speak for the MSI but I own the 7559 and it's a rather capable notebook in its own right. However I'd wait for the GTX 1050s to start rolling out. A 1050 is roughly 75% faster than a 960M (750 Ti) and it's easily one of the best budget oriented gaming laptop GPUs soon to hit the market.
I'd wait, personally. Because then you can either spend a smidge more for a good 1050 laptop or get a killer deal on a cheaper 960M laptop.
Also the differences between the 950M and the 1050 are stupid at this point. I wouldn't go for anything less than a 960M at the utmost minimum.

Actually, this is better than my pick, dell makes good laptops, and has big SSD, and has better GPU for less cost. Go with this one!

wadeak78 reacted to MrAlbertrocks in EVGA GTX 1070 SC Vs Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming
I said they screwed up, they send a fix for people with the issue and offered people a chance to return the cards. They no longer ship cards without thermal pads. The problem has been solved, there's no reason to keep bringing that up if considering buying one of their cards.

Easy, the one you think looks better is the better performer, as they perform the same.
