  1. If you are within the 30 day return period, Amazon will take back the monitor regardless of manufacturer warranty.
  2. You're best off grabbing an old Intel 4th gen Dell Optiplex and giving it a face lift. The Media Server build in my signature, which runs Ubuntu Server 18.04, works wonders for running a small (2-6 players) modded/vanilla MC server. Cost me around $98.37 to upgrade and got the system for free from a hardware recycling center.
  3. Do you still have the link from where you downloaded the file? This sounds like a false positive to me.
  4. You should grab Malwarebytes to remove malicious applications. You should also remove Firefox extensions you do not recognize by typing about:addons into your address bar.
  5. Try using Administrative Command Prompt to reset Quick Access with the following command: del /F /Q %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations\* You will need to restart your computer for these changes to take place.
  6. Are you getting 50 FPS in GTA Online and Story Mode? If you're in Online, your frame rate is heavily impacted by Rockstar's inability to optimize their game. Expect 50-60 FPS on max settings with your current configuration. Lower to medium to get the frame rate you were expecting.
  7. Use OpenVPN, there's a Windows installer available here , other installers are available here. If you want a SOCKS5 proxy, you can use Squid for Windows, available here. If you want to open a port, enable port 22 to allow for SSH connections under your router's configuration. Note that using a VPN or proxy will route all of your traffic through the source unless configured otherwise, opening a port allows direct connection to your OpenSSH server without routing traffic. Opening a port is the least secure option, but is the easiest to set up. OpenVPN is the next best option, security is dependent on how you configure it.
  8. The company is called Privacy, https://privacy.com/linus.
  9. I did not recommend the $260 TN panel that I listed, I dispise panels like these. I appreciate your pointers on the PSU and cooler, but the other components I did not pick. If you look at OP's PCPartPicker list, I blatantly copied it to save time, and to maintain some of OP's personal preferences. The point of the list was just to give OP an idea on what could be improved. I spent 5 minutes on this parts list as a mock-up, obviously it's not perfect. I described it as a quick mock-up in my post.

  11. Samsung stopped supporting multiple user profiles with Android 5.0.2 on the S6. It is no longer possible without rooting your device. Google and OnePlus are the only two manufacturers that I am aware of that still offer this feature on their devices.
  12. There's a simple solution, RMA it. I don't know why you would buy a $2.5k card to play GTA V.
  13. If Move to iOS doesn't work, then you're pretty much out of luck. There are no other applications that will allow the transferring of texts. All applications claiming to provide this functionality are scams, as Apple does not offer options for importing text messages. Samsung offers no convenient migration options if you're using Samsung Notes, your best bet will be to share each note individually with Google Drive. If you're using Google Keep, your notes will automatically sync between Android, iOS, and keep.google.com.
  14. Apple provides first-party migration software when you boot into iOS for the first time, which connects to their migration app on the Play Store. There are no quality third-party migration apps due to restrictions in iOS.
  15. The drive you are trying to access likely has bad sectors and will therefore be unreadable by Windows. If the drive contains data you cannot afford to lose, I would suggest that you create a bootable instance of Ubuntu on a USB drive and utilize the DDRescue command line tool to recover the data on the drive.
