  1. I was hoping to avoid that, but alright. Thank you
  2. I recently upgraded my home internet from dsl to cable. I now get 200 down 10 up. My Modem/router (netgear c6300) is in my living room, and my pc is in my office, on the other side of the house. I have a range extender so I can connect to ethernet. However, I am getting worse signal on my pc now. I did a speed test before and after (also did a steam download test). Before I was getting the correct speed, but now I am getting worse. On my phone or other wifi devices, I get the correct speed. I tried re-configuring the range extender, but to no avail. Would it be better to set it up as an access point, rather than a range extender? Or should I ditch the extender, and run Cat. 6 cables in my attic? thanks for the help
  3. that was actually very helpful. Thanks
  4. OK, do you think doing the bequiet Pure Wings 2 PWM?
  5. In my case, i have the option of putting one(1) 200mm fan or two(2) 140mm fans, in the front of the case. which is better?
  6. I have a Corsair H110i, and the fans are a little loud for my liking. I am wanting to get 2 new 140mm silent fans, but dont know which ones work well with radiators. I know i want high static pressure, but don't know where to look. I did a little looking and found the "Pure Wings 2 PWM" fans by BeQuiet. are those good fans for radiator use?? Thank you for the help!! P.S. Attached is the info about the fans www.bequiet.pdf
  7. Got it all working! thanks for all your help!
  8. so i just tested it. and when I had everything except for the 8 pin cpu power connecter plugged in, it worked perfectly, but when I plugged in the 8 pin cpu power cable and restarted the system, it fails.
  9. Nothing happened when i did that
  10. I tried both. Same thing happened with both.
  11. I just finished building a my desktop. I plugged everything in and went to hit the power button to test it and start installing stuff. I flipped the power supply switch and the motherboard and gpu lights came on. Good sign. Then I pressed the power button. All that happened was a little buzz from the power supply and then nothing. no fan movement, no lights, nothing. the motherboard and gpu lights remained on, and nothing changed. I don't know what the problem is, whether it's not enough power, or something. Please help. Thanks! Part list of this build: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/QypVWX
