  1. so when i started steam today i saw that Dead rising 2 was on sale, then i noticed that there was a new Dead rising tag added on steam. i assumed it was for the DR4, but to my surprise it's the original dead rising which is coming out on the 13th of september for it's 10 year anniversary. i haven't heard anyone mention it anywhere before, so my thought was "why not share this with the rest of the community ?". So what is your opinion of Dead Rising one coming out on steam ?, i'm just happy that i don't have to dust of my old fat Xbox, that i never use, just so i can play Dr1
  2. got the G710. i love this keyboard and i highly recommend the G710+..
  3. Hi. i have been looking for a good quality usb microphone, mostly for personal reasons, as i won't use it for streaming nor recording music. i were thinking of a Blue Snowflake, but i saw it costs 50 dollar extra in my country, and that made me loos all the interest as i would get the snowball cheaper from all the sellers i could find compared to the few that were selling the Snowflakes. so i were looking up some info about the snowball and the snowball ice, i wasn't happy with what others had to say about it. i kept looking for other usb mics on the market, i heard a lot about the Blue Yeti. i mostly agreed with what the others had to say about the Yeti, but at the same time, the price of the yeti is above my price range. i went back listening at the snowball, i still wasn't sure that i would be satisfied with the snowball, so i was looking for a pair of new cans as i still was searching for a replacement for those as well. i were thinking awhile back that i would pick up a HyperX cloud 2 down the line, but i never did. then to the question i wanna ask to you guys, what would you have done in my shoes ? would you go for the snowball and adjust it to your liking, Go with the Cloud 2s for now and think about a standalone mic later or would you go with something else ? i'm open for all suggestions.
  4. something i didn't think of. thanks for pointing that out, as i wouldn't otherwise thought it would be such a problem.
  5. sorry for being so confusing, i gonna make a new main pc for just personal stuff that i gonna use for my main game accounts , paying over the internet and write stuff, and with the current rig i will re purpose as a game pc for lan partys or for friends to play on without using my main rig
  6. so, i have a built that started back in 2012 and was finished 2013. i'm reasonably pleased whit the components for what i paid. the reason i'm gonna make a new rig is because i wanna have a Lan pc that actually can pull through the resent games which my old one couldn't ( rip lan pc from 2010) if you read the specks on my current rig, you would probably think that i'm either an idiot or a rich idiot, which isn't far of. i'm going full out retard on this lan pc, but i gonna do it because i can. i got so much hardware so i don't need to save on making an pc that has the main funktion to pay taxes, buy stuff from the internet and write documents, as usually is the family pc. the fact that the rig i have now was basically brand new when i got them which means it's a very capable gaming pc, but i'm extremely pissed at how amd handels their software and i ONLY have bad experience with amds products for the last 5 years. the last lan pc died when the gpu killed the motherboard and cpu. the last rig i built that wasn't for me had a faulty "amd cpu" and all the annoying and buggy software levas you with frustration and makes the rest of the day miserable. so i gonna make a new pc with preferably a gtx card so i can take advantage of shadow play and other Nvidia exclusives. so i gonna go overkill with my new lan pc, maybe even make a combo unit by taking advice from LTT themselves by making a Nas & gaming pc in one. i suspect that the advice i gonna get is somewhere along the line :- just cheap out and upgrade what i have now and make an other cheaper lan pc, which i would have done otherwise, because it makes seance unlike what i'm thinking of doing. so, if i haven't made it clear inaf because i can't think clear in the milde of the night, i gonna turn this reasonably new gaming pc to a secondary but mainly in to a overkill lan pc so i won't have to upgrade the thing in the near future and make a new main pc which i gonna have my main accounting stuff and other accounts which i deem to important to get stolen and so on. and on the second pc i can have all my games on and use for all the other stuff i possibly could need it for that i wouldn't dear install on my main pc. so to the actual question (how not to write a post.txt) should i go with a gtx 970 and later get a second card to sli with if deemed necessary, go with any of the amd 300 series and see how it fears compared to the upcoming cards, or just wait intill the new cards are about to release. just before you roast me because of my poor grammar, i have really bad sight and and i also suffer from dyslexia.
  7. i'm such an idiot, i didn't realize i was on the Cpu/Motherboard section when it should have been on the Graphics section. >_>
  8. Frame it on the wall sounds like a good idea, i might as well do that. if i make a good job making it wall mountable, it could still be used at a later date. thanks for the suggestion, i didn't expect to get any response at all.
  9. Hi, when i was looking for some random pc accessories in the basement, i found my older brothers old pc from 2005~. i had a lot of good memories from playing on this old thing but most of the parts were salvaged afterwards when we built an other pc for my younger brother back at 2007. so i was pleasantly surprised when i found neatly wrapped in an antistatic bag without any dust covering it, considering it have just been laying around for about 10 years. so the first thought was what i could do with this old card, but i couldn't really come up with any good ideas, as the bloody thing is to old to play the games that came out after 2007 and basically the only games i could think of was to make a pc for the very old games but i got other pc's for that already. So my question is, What would you do with older hardware, such as Gpus and Cpus " The grafics card in question is a Radeon Sapphire X800 GTO Ultimate " any advice ?
