Damn, so a DIY notebook isn't even an option? Is there any way I can get a "barebones" kind of deal and then just modify it to my hearts content?

I am thinking of building a hackintosh workstation notebook as a portable companion to my PC. What I'm wondering is, can you even build laptops? I know that you can modify and swap out parts in many of them, but can I build it from scratch like I did with my desktop? If so, could somebody point me out to a helpful guide for doing so. I'm pretty savvy with desktops but with laptops I know nothing.

So, I've been planning on giving my PC a makeover. I'm upgrading pretty much everything in it and decided to get a new case as well. Currently I've got an old Raidmax case (If anyone remembers when they were a thing). I had already decided on the Define R4, but then I laid my eyes on the NZXT H440. What a beauty! What I'm here to ask is: Is it really the "Define R4 killer" or does the r4 still reign supreme among these forums? Also, which would you personally choose? I am personally leaning toward the H440 as of right now, but the airflow is holding me back a bit. Plus, the R4 still holds a special place in my heart so I don't know which to choose.

For most of the video I was just like "Okay, whatever". But the moment I got to 5:02 in that video I just about lost my shit. I even posted on a topic a few days ago saying that this is something that morons say. Jesus, I'm getting worked up thinking about it.

I know, but isn't the game being made by former IW employees? Thats more along the lines of what I was getting at edit: Some other guy just told me it is the IW devs, but the ones from before CoD went to shit (CoD 4). So that makes me happy

I don't see why anyone would desperately want this. I've had a MORE than satisfying experience with my flat-screen monitors/TVs. Once the price comes down within the next decade or so I could understand it, but for now I'm more than fine just using a monitor. I feel like Samsung is innovating in the wrong ways here.

Couldn't agree more. I feel like the stock cooler for the 780/780ti/Titan doesn't get as much love as it deserves. edit: I know the Titan cooler is slightly different, but it is still sexy as hell

If you've got no budget and want the best performance possible than get 2 GTX 780tis.

You could probably save yourself a bit of money and get rid of that 4770k, it is pretty overkill for gaming. But hey, if you've got the money to spare go for it. Build looks pretty good! edit: Also, I would swap out those 290Xs for GTX 780s (which are roughly the same price, and have a much better price to performance ratio) or get a 780ti.
