  1. I guess it would OC further on the 8350, I guess that's worth the extra money. However, do I really need too? 4.0GHz seems sufficient enough for what I'm looking for
  2. Thanks. I'm going to go the 8320 route, buy a new cooler, and overclock it
  3. I need a new AMD CPU, and was looking to get an FX-8320, but came across the 8350. Is the performance of the 8350 good enough that it is worth forking over the extra 50 bucks for it on newegg, rather than just getting an 8320?
  4. Could the forum help me find an 8GB DDR3 RAM kit compatible with this motherboard: ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 Micro-ATX AM3+ ? The person I am getting this for IS an overclocker so please keep that in mind if possible.
  5. I have been looking into this PSU and was wondering if any of you have had any past experiences with it, or if you could just give me your opinion. It seems like it would be perfect for my single-GPU setup.
  6. Thanks Guys! I will show this to him tomorrow.
  7. Sorry, just checked this. No he does not
  8. PA. Will be primarily used for gaming.
  9. Keyboard, Mouse, and Monitor are not needed. Windows 7 is his OS of choice. Thanks
  10. So my friend is looking to build a fairly decent PC in the $500-$600 range. I have only built one PC before (which is my current one) and I am not too experienced. I tried to design him one by myself, and it was alright but I'm thinking you guys could do better. This is where you come in, my friend would like a fairly decent PC build for under $600 to get him started with PC gaming. You can use PC Part Picker and send me the link with any details you would like to mention. I will forward them to him via email. Thanks Guys!
  11. The 750d is seemingly going to be my case of choice. All the expansion room I need, great cable management, and great airflow. Plus, it has that simple, sleek look to it that I adore. Thanks guys.
  12. I completely agree. My current case is a real mess when it comes to this, which is one of the reasons I'm getting a new one.
  13. So I have been searching for a full-tower case for my PC, within my $250 budget. If I had the money I would go for the 900D, or the SilverStone TJ-07, however I simply don't. I have been looking into the 750D and HAF-X cases. They seem to fit my needs, but I am still unsure. What I would like to know is, do you have a personal recommendation for me to look into (within my budget)? This is just a casual post to see your ideas as to what you think I should do. I don't use water cooling so that doesn't need to be taken into consideration. Looking for a case with great air-flow I use a standard ATX motherboard. Looks aren't a necessity, but rather a bonus.
  14. Haven't purchased much yet, Id like to pick up Mount and Blade: Warband. Other than that Im not sure, just kind of browsing the sales for anything that catches my eye.
