  1. Monitor is on, but nothing is coming up. PSU: EVGA Supernova NEX 750B MOBO: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 CPU: AMD FX-8350 GPU: R9 390. (Direct CU II cooler) RAM: 8gb G.skill Ripjaws X
  2. Im pretty have all of the proper connectors in the right places but my PC will not power on. The solid green LED on the motherboard comes on but when I press the power button nothing happens. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  3. If you can definitely go for the 280 as it is the better card, however the 270x will definitely still run games.
  4. Not bad, but definitely add something to the middle. It looks a little bit bland in the red area
  5. So my moms dell laptop isn't working properly. Whenever you press the power button the power indicator lights up (and stays lit up, like it should). The hard drive light turns on for about 10 seconds and turns off. Meanwhile nothing is happening on the screen, it remains completely black. I have tried replacing the hard drive with one that I believe to be working, to see if her hard drive was the issue, but the issue remains. I have no idea what is wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  6. How much lower? Would it still be acceptable on Bioshock 2 for example @ 1920x1080? (using WINE)
  7. I would like to do some real gaming on it as well though. Linux game support seems to be growing thankfully and I could also use WINE for some games.
  8. Linux Mint Best I can find is $350 for a GTX 770
  9. So I'm in the market for a new GPU for my Linux build and I need some assistance. I have received opportunities to purchase an R9 290 for as low as $280, and an R9 280X for even lower. I would love to seize these opportunities, however I have heard very bad things throughout the web about AMD drivers with Linux, even going as far as to say that they severely diminish the overall performance. My question is, should I get the AMD card for the awesome price? or is it not worth it and I should shoot for an Nvidia card at a similar price? Thanks.
