  1. AMP Extreme is one of the best looking non-ref cooler for 970/980 i've seen so far. GG to Zotac.
  2. It's the only phone in it's class that can justify it's price. Good job HTC almost great, really no wireless charging?
  3. Where is the "holly balls" - t-shirt
  4. I don't think FX chips are dead. I think Steamroller is coming and i think amd has the right idea with more cores. Now the software has to catch up to this idea.
  5. Yeah AMD Overdrive doesen't work for me because it doesen't detect an AMD cpu (i have my athlon X3 unlocked to a phenom B55 X4) I'll try the sapphire utility next but probably tomorrow cause meh work Mondays
  6. I don't have voltage controls in overdrive
  7. Hey guys, I've been having a problem with my graphics card ever since i got it, but finally decided to ask an opinion since everything i've tried in the last year has failed. I have a MSI Radeon 6870 Twin Frozr II OC standard it runs 920 Mhz on the core and the max i managed to get it up to on the core and be stable-ish is 960 Mhz. The problem is it won't overvolt, although i set the volts higher in Afterburner (standard 1.175) i try to bump it up to 1.2 - 1.25 and it "applies" in Afterburner but when i run Kombuster to check stability it still says Vcore: 1.175v. Any ideas on why it will not overvolt the GPU? I've seen reviews with my card saying it will go to 1 - 1.05 Ghz and i want to get it to 1000mhz but the damn thing is not stable without a bit more volts I've also attached 2 screen shots with the problem in action and my settings maybe somebody can enlighten me.
  8. I never played any game from the Diablo series :/ but still don't feel like trying it out, dunno why.
  9. Honestly Coca Cola and beer (beck's, carlsberg, grolsch) but now that summer is almost here just about any old cold drink will do :)
  10. Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus still waiting for the 4.1 upgrade, come on Samsung :(
  11. You would expect that the we would see wireless charging being fitted on a cars console in something like a luxury car, but apparently Toyota is giving it to the masses (at least to the masses in north america). The car in question is the 2013 Toyota Avalon and this is what they have to say: The 2013 Toyota Avalon Limited will be the first vehicle available in the world that offers in-console Qi wireless charging for Qi–enabled mobile phones and devices as part of a Technology Package, available for both the gasoline and hybrid version of the new Avalon Limited, which also includes Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Automatic High beams and a Pre-Collision System. Qi is the global standard for wireless power and charging. With Qi, devices can be charged just by placing them on, or near, any Qi-enabled surface. Any Qi-enabled device works with any Qi charger, regardless of brand or manufacturer. The Avalon’s wireless charging pad is integrated into the ebin® lid situated in vehicle’s center console. The system can be enabled by a switch beneath the lid, and charging is as simple as placing the phone upon the lid’s high-friction surface. Supplied by DENSO, the Avalon’s wireless charging system relies on technology developed by ConvenientPower and Philips Lite-on Digital Solution (PLDS), and it will elevate the high technology experience of the new Avalon sedan. “Pioneering the ability to charge with no wires or connectors by simply putting devices in the car console is an intuitive innovation which reflects Toyota’s continuing commitment to improve the consumer experience,” said Randy Stephens, chief engineer of Toyota Avalon. “We see wireless charging as an important feature that helps enhance the high-technology theme and consumer interface offered by Avalon Limited which is already equipped with three TFT color screens and Intellitouch™ controls.” Qi wireless charging is now integrated in 34 mobile phone models, including recent launches of the LG Google Nexus 4, Nokia Lumia 920, HTC Windows Phone 8X. Qi-certified products range from smartphones to charging pads, gaming controllers, Blu-ray Disc recorders, smartphone docking speakers, automobile phone chargers, alarm clocks and battery packs, to charging modules that can be installed in tabletops and furniture. 12. I voted for mechanical because i really like how they feel but there are a few things to consider. As living in the more eastern side of Europe (Romania) where salaries are not like they are in the west, we perceive price differences a bit differently. Problem is i can see a big difference between a 100$ mechanical with no multimedia keys and a 90$ full multimedia membrane keyboard from someone like Logitech and i kinda lean towards the feature full membrane (i like and use the dedicated multimedia keys). I know there's the Corsair K90 (but that has way too many buttons and is considerably more expensive) and the G710+ which again is considerably more expensive. I know to some 50$ is not a big difference but for some of us 50$ means 10% of your 500$ monthly salary (and that is a very decent salary here). So don;t be harsh on people who may not understand why you would want to spend over 100$ dollars on a keyboard that has nothing special except the switches.
  13. Wow, that's arround 200-250$ worth of games included with a card at arround the 900$ point :O. Really awesome from AMD.
