Re-install windows don't waste your time, if they work fine in the UEFI it's most likely not a hardware issue. A quick check to make sure it isn't hardware or firmware is booting a Linux live cd if it all works it is for sure windows.

Yea, I got a Bootable Kali linux drive and all works fine on it. Guess I'm reinstalling. I'm so sick of this pc too. It also has an unfixable stutter issue as well that I could never get to go away even with the help of this very forum. I'm so done with and cpus rn too. Cuz my old pc had the same issue with a stutter. Guess imma get me a 8700k.

I had a similar case with my own computer, suddenly no usb ports would work, except 2.0 ports. What I did was to manually remove all registry entries associated to usb:

-Open device manager, find the ports that dont work > right click > properties then write down the error code.

-If you get error code 19,31,32,37,39 or 41 then do this https://www.repairwin.com/fix-usb-error-code-39-usb-not-working-error/

I would say first uninstall drivers, then delete registry entries> restart

I will try this but will be very difficult as I can only use a keyboard for input.

  3. So I just woke up today to turn my pc on and find out no usb ports are working. When I plug my mouse in it light up rgb for like 3 secs then turn off. Same with any other usb device. The only device that works is an old ps/2 keyboard I have. I already uninstalled the serial bus drivers and all other usb drivers and reinstalled em with no luck. Also powercycled pc with no luck. I even removed and put pack the cmos battery and no luck. Any help is appreciated.

If the issue is only occuring when the internet is involved, then the issue is likely with that. It could be a crappy network adapter or bloatware for the NIC to try to make it 'run fast" (Realtek and Killer NIC's cause a lot of network related slowdowns).

If you can, try to get a wifi card to bypass your current NIC and so you don't need to rely on your current router bodge.

so what if I delete realtek? would that fix it? abd what is a NIC?

You could try disabling your network adapter temporarily to test if the problem persists without network connectivity. I wouldn't expect it to be though.

If you run resource monitor, do you see any anomalous activity on the disk, network or RAM when the issue occurs?

Havent tried disconnecting from internet cuz the problem only happens when the internet is involved and yea ive ran resource monitor and nothing even when it happens nothing spikes. ive also looked in event viewer and nothing looked abnormal. ?

Are there any components from the old system that you reused?

ive always ran on eithernet but rn im using a getto solution to connect to the internet as I have no wifi card abd cant install the modem in my currebt room. Im using a portable router in client mode and have a eithernet from it going to my pc rn. so its on wifi but also on eithernet if that makes sence.

Either both the old and new systems have very low specifications and cannot handle your workload, or there is some software or peripheral connected to the system that demands a lot of system resources.

I would recommend going through everything that is installed and removing bloatware and non-essential programs, and unplug devices that are not critical, and keep testing until you can resolve and replicate the issue to identify the cause.

No matter what I do it still happens. rn im running only steam and 1 game and it still does it in game as well as youtube in IE

I have nothing installed on my pc rn but steam and 1 game and it still does it...... ? it happens randomly though, its not consistant at all.

  9. So I just built this new pc about 4 months ago and since day 1 I've had this audio/video stuttering problems. it happens when listening to Pandora, playing games, and watching YouTube. Ive tried everything imaginable to fix it (To my Knowledge) and it still happens. The funny thing is that my old pc did the same thing. I've never been able to record it because it does not show up in recording but someone else on YouTube recorded the exact same problem I have.  I dont know If i will get in trouble posting this link but I think its key in helping me fix my problem. Thank you in advance to anyone helping me solve this problem.

Reliability and stability could be seen as different things. In one, if you're worried about things suddenly not working, I wouldn't be concerned about that. It isn't like AMD never built a CPU before. Even Intel had problems recently with a SoC they made that wore out over long use, so you can never say it will never happen.

As for stability, again I wouldn't worry even if it is early days. High speed ram compatibility is still a problem. If you really want to run high speed ram, find out what others have had success with and get the exact same module. Beware of minor differences over time though...

from my research ive seen people constantly getting 3200mhz to work with a 1600x chip and flare x ram with gigabyte and asrock boards.

Very reliable. I've never experienced a crash or a problem other than RAM speeds.

I can't yet get my 3200Mhz RAM to run at it's rated speed, but once you lower it's speed, it works flawlessly.

the CPU won't flop. that's for sure. we know because motherboard makers are making new models all the time, which means that there is high demand.

one thing to avoid though, the msi b350 gaming mobo. just putting it out their.

    ok. thx

oh I forgot to say, before buying parts from what is listed on pcpart picker look at b&h photo as depending on where you live they charge no tax and free shipping. Also jet is having a thing right now for 15% off first 3 orders. "30$ max discount"

I know he could get a B350, but this board is on of the best on the market right now and will provide great and stable overclocks, but if he isn't gonna overclock then i will fix the list to a B350M to save some money

any b350 mobo can overclock just as well as any x370 board. the whole reason for x370 boards are for more features which im pretty sure he doesn't want or need.
