  1. That thing is an absolute beast!!! If I go camping that is going with me!!! Movie paradise and gamer nirvana take your pick!!!!
  2. My bedroom setup!!!! Planning for many more additions to the led lighting world though!! Oh and of course I add LED or fiber optic lighting to my drones as well 20160224_221512.mp4
  3. Check ebay frequently sometimes you can find a brushed motor com cutter. Hobbyking.com has a decent brush cutter for pretty cheap. As for breaking in brushed motors we used to break em in in a mix of water, coke a cola, WD40, simple green, and tooth paste. It polished the com and broke in the brushes pretty well. Just had to clean em out with motor cleaner and repel the bearings afterwards. We used mouse milk machine oil and I gotta tell ya that stuff is AMAZING as bearing oil!!!!!
  4. Brushed motors are the way to go in water and mud because they won't short out like brushless sensored motors will. I use my rc rock crawler in water all the time and as long as ya hose it down and tear down the motors for maintenance from time to time they last for friggin ever!!! GOPR5353.MP4
  5. Oh and Anton invest in a prop balancer. You can easily find one for $20 usually! Balancing your props before flying will make it sooooo much easier to dial in your PID loops in cleanflight or betaflight! As well as make for a much more efficient and smoother ride
  6. Anton judging from what I see you have done a lot of research already. One thing I would change though is step your battery up to at least 35C or above. With lipo if you discharge to rapidly as can happen approaching full throttle you can destroy the battery catestophically! The higher the C rating the better it will handle high sustained discharge.
  7. Check out dronexlabs.com for kits to build drones and for build logs on their youtube channel. Also painless360 on youtube is a great drone resource. But yeah building a drone is gonna be cheaper and way better cuz you can control the quality as well as know how to fix it when it crashes. And trust me you will crash it is inevitable for any rc pilot. But yea that's for smaller racing drones but once you figure out the electronics they carry over to full size photography drones for a much better cost
  8. O crap I forgot to give you the websites! Www.dronexlabs.com
  9. If you're still looking for advice on how to build your first drone I've hooked up with dronexlabs for a while now and I know that they sell a great kit and have a LOADED of knowledge behind it. They stream on twitch Tuesdays and thursdays and they will walk ya through step by step what is required to build as well as answer any other questions you might have! check out their youtube for build logs! Oh and another great youtube source is painless360 that dudes got TONS of build logs and other assorted information on drones! But currently this is what I'm rockin drone wise. Still building got dozens of plains and a few helis as well.
  10. Hey linus. I've been watching you guys for a few months now on youtube and occasionally twitch and I love all the builds I've seen! I'm new to the forums and one thing I've never seen you guys do is build a computer gaming desk where you make the desk the case and basically make it look as awesome as possible while also making the prefomance as OP as you possibly can! I've been considering building a desk of such construction but seeing as I'm going in for back surgery next month it won't be for quite some time! I'd love to see what you and Luke could come up with for potential LTT gaming desk rigs!!!
