I really wish there were larger drivers using Focal's inverted tweeter technology. They sound amazing but at the same time do you think that type of technology would work in a larger diameter driver?

However if you want "Hi-Fi" branded speakers and drivers you can go with Aurasound and Peerless.

I've built with JL and they're really nice. You just have to watch out for "Competition" branded subs which have to be more durable. Focal are the best right now though. Focal also has some subs under $200 but I've never built with them before so I can't vouch for how good they sound.

That is really odd. Maybe stay away from that sub for a while and go with a JL. Not sure what's up with that.

Focal is always the best in drivers and tweeters. However Pioneer's Champion series TS-W3003D4 is the best 12inch under $200. However anything above that just go with Focal, Audiofrog, or JL Audio. Focal is preferable though. If you want to make a good 12inch or 10inch sub take a note from KRKs front firing port on the 12s and 10s. Very good design especially for home theater. Materials wood be MDF or Aluminum if you can get your hands on that. Hope this helps!

Bluetooth is hard since it's an added feature that ups the price of a speaker set. Never get a bluetooth sub. The best bluetooth system I could find would be these.

My friend has a Klipsch PC speaker set like this. It sounds quite nice and has some nice low end. I wouldn't call it "accurate" but it doesn't sound bad ad the bass isn't super muddy sounding as I find with most other products like this. If you wanted clear sound but no sub so they lack a little bass you could get these. Hope this helps!

If you like looks you could go for the edifiers. They're nice-ish but they don't sound amazing. You could also grab some KRKs since they're really great. Stay away from Yamaha unless you have extra money you don't mind spending. Though your setup looks beautiful. Cable management on point!

My bad sorry it's DDR3. And yeah its the highest configuration and the most powerful machine you can get for music production. When I bought it I configured it with both D700s and in hindsight I could probably get by with the D500s. However with Metal integrating with core audio drivers the GPUs do help when I tax the CPUs. However 6gb workstation cards aren't really needed for music production. However UE4 likes them.

Mine makes sense for what I do. Except for the dual 6gb cards. Never come close to using them fully.

My bad one last one that I forgot. The Edifier R1700BTs are $150 but I've loved my pair. I miss the low-end when I game on the CR3s which is why I got the Logitechs and they're quite nice.

Yeah KRKs are the best in their price range from five to 8 inch driver sizes. If you can afford it the HS8s are better but not by much. Presonus are ok but they're not horribly accurate. 8inch driver sizes don't get good until you venture into the realm of Exposes, Focal, or Dynaudio. If you don't have the money for those and have 5 inch monitors pick up a Yamaha or KRK studio sub until you can afford the higher end stuff. But for 5inch sizes the KRKs are the best I've used in that price range. I wouldn't go Eris 5s just because they cause more ear fatigue and their woofers tend to rot after a year or so. KRK and M-Audio have the best 5inch monitors. But M-Audios BX5 Carbons are awful. If you don't have a sub headphones work fine if you have a good pair.

KRK Rokit 4s $139.50 each Persons Eris 4.5s $199.95 pair Mackie CR4s $150 pair The KRKs are the best out of the bunch. The CR4s are good for their price and the Persons Eris 4.5s are good if you want to get an audio interface as well. If you're looking for 5 inch monitors go KRK or M-Audio but avoid the BX5 Carbons and JBL.

Yeah the keyboard is nice but I don't use keyboards with tablets which is why I think its all down to preference. Whatever suites your needs is how I view it.

For schools the iPad is great. Much more intuitive and the fact that the iPad runs faster helps biology students and architecture students a lot. I used to own a Surface Pro 4 and switched out to the iPad Pro because the SP4 was to flaky. Honestly though I've never found a mobile windows device that's really good. I think Microsoft needs to stop using such an outdated OS and move into the Unix space before they'll have anything great to offer.

They're not same market. The iPad pro is for designers and illustrators. Every designer at pixar has one and I know a ton of people from Ubisoft and Epic Games love the iPad Pro. The Surface is geared for the business person. It also has trouble with thermal throttling and heat issues. But honestly its all preference. Someone who has used windows for all their life would hate OS X and vice versa.

Definitely the Schiit Lyr 2. Since the HE560s are low sensitivity and low impedance that makes them harder to drive so you need an amp with some power. -
Your statement is true to an extent. They take existing ideas and are the first to do them right. They don't just steal them. But I don't think that counts as innovation either.
