Since posting the xfx card got a $100 discount, so it's now 50$ cheaper than the powercolor, so I ordered that one, since it uses 2x8 pins as well.

Just so I am sure, is the eps-12v the connector on the psu, or the cable used that goes from 8 pin to 4+4? Because on the Corsair TX850M the two 8 pins on the psu look identical, so if I use two cables that goes from 8 pin to 6+2, and do as some others have recommended and daisy chain one of them, and run the other one solo, for a total of 3x8 pins, would that be okay? From my understanding they will get 150 watt from each 8 pin + 75 from motherboard, so it should still get 375w, and it looks to have a TDP of 335w, so it that should be fine, I assume.

I want to upgrade my gpu, but don't want to do a complete upgrade right now, so I was looking to buy the PowerColor 6950 XT which requires 3 8 pins, but my psu only has 2. I am using a Corsair TX850M and it only has 2 8 pins (6+2 and 4+4) and then several 6 pins. My question is whether I can run it using only 2 8 pins from the psu to 3 8 pins to the gpu, because each cable splits into 2 6+2 pins? It probably wont run at full speed anyway, because I am using an i7-8700k and it will be at pcie 3.0 speeds untill I upgrade. I am currently using a GTX 1080 that gets 8 + 6 pins from a single 8 pin on psu. I can also pay slightly more to get a reference card or a "XFX Radeon RX 6950 XT Speedster MERC 319" that only requires 2 8 pins, would they run at slower speeds or would one either of them be better suited for the situation even if I upgrade later on? I don't plan to overclock the 6950. The price difference is about $50.

I tried connecting the pump to the aio_pump and the pump's fan to cpu_fan, now I don't get an error, and it's detecting cpu_fan but it's running around 1000 rpm and rise with the cpu temps, and the aio pump is now not detecting It says in my motherboard manual "Connect the fan of your water cooling kit to the AIO_PUMP connector.", but it doesn't say where to connect the pump itself. In my H60 manual it says "Connect the pump power connector to any avaiable 3-pin or 4-pin fan on the motherboard." So should I try putting the pump in one of the CHA_fan ? EDIT: I tried connecting the pump to one of the CHA_fan and the pump's fan to the aio_pump, but still same result, aio_pump at 2k rpm and cpu_fan not detecting and CHA_fan not detecting and cpu temps just rise.

I have just build a new pc with the following specs: Asus z370-p Intel i7-8700k Corsair H60 Asus GTX1080 NZXT H440 Samsung 960EVO 250GB WD 1TB Black Corsair TX850M And when I start it up it says "cpu fan error" and I press F1 to run, then when I get into bios my cpu fan is not detecting (N/A) but my aio pump is running at 1800-1900 rpm. My cpu temperature steadily rise, and continues to rise after hitting 68 and I turn it off, of course. My Corsair H60 is connected to cpu_fan on the motherboard and it's fan is connected to aio_pump, I can see the fan running and it's deteced in bios, but I don't know if the pump is running, and I don't think it is, since it isn't detected and cpu temps rise steadily. Should I connect something differently? or is my cooler broken? or is it some setting I have to change? I appreciate any help I know the picture is really bad and the screen isn't set right but just ignore it :), you can't really see the cpu temps neither but within a few minutes it will have risen from 30 to like 60 degrees celcius.

I have a pc that im going to upgrade gpu on. I was thinking ASUS GeForce® GTX 1050TI-O4G-GAMING ROG STRIX, because it's cheap and has decent performance. The problem is Im not sure if gtx 1050ti goes well with joshua-h61-uatx motherboard, as far as I know there is no problem with using 3.0 on a 2.0 motherboard. Thanks, I would also assume that the CPU will keep up with the GPU but its just that it's a i5 3. generation so... I am getting a new case so that won't be a problem

This is my current pc: Joshua-H61-uATX Intel Core i5-3350P 8 GB DDR3 - 1600MHz NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 1 TB HDD 300W PSU I was thinking about upgrading my Graphics Card and Power Supply, to a MSI GTX 960 2GB gaming and a Corsair CX600W. 1. Is 600W enough. 2. Will it work considering it's from a GT 630 to a GTX 960. 3. Will the GTX 960 be so powerful compared to my other components, that it won't reach its full potential.
