Aww, no white LED's! White LED's would have been PERFECT in this build! All of the green would just burst with vibrance! I vote change them to white! Other than that gorgeous build

I really like what you have done with the waterblocks. I was never really a fan of the frosted top design on them, and They recently released a 'Clean' version without frosting, but they way you have polished them up like this just makes them looks sooooooo much better! Love it!

    Update

    Hello there!

I am very happy to present to everybody, a design that I am finally happy with, but is still subject to change. There are still a few things which I plan to do, very special things, but I want to keep these ideas as a surprise I have composed 18 renders over the last few days for your viewing pleasure, so please enjoy. Please note that the colour scheme is not final, but I am liking the blue/white scheme, and a purple/white scheme the most right now.

Please feel free to give me constructive criticism on how you think the design flows, and what you think are good and bad ideas. I know that I cannot please everybody, but I am always open for suggestion Physical work is planned to begin in December or even beginning of January, so there is enough time for me to buy parts and materials for this build. I will be taking on more night shifts at work in the coming months, so this means that I will have more dead time to get some small custom panel work completed at the workshop at work. You can expect some small updates So, with all said, please sit back and enjoy the show!

Time for the photos of the hardware.

    Case

started putting the parts on the mother board tray for prefit

Start fitting thing in the case to get it working and useful before i bought the Water cooling stuff.

Now a look at what i am upgradeing from.

put a heatsink i had laying around on there instead of the stock to push the cpu a little.

before i learned how to use exposer on my camera

this was my original layout for my water system.

    got some blocks in

    put the pump together

had axidentally oreded the wrong size fitting and it would cost the same to pay to send back and replace as it would be to just buy a new set. so i have white fitting for future builds

while i was putting this together this is how my system was running for about two months. mind you litterally this is how it was running.

time to drill a fw holes to mount the rez and pump. right now i wish i would of changed the rez mounts to inside the round groments instead of the outside. but what can ya do.

above i was trying to decide my pump founting position

this was my original plans for the build with the top of the rez. but it had to chage latter on and you will see but i will resolve the prob i had latter on.

was my original idea of lighting. but i decided against it in the end. i like the current one i chose better.

now to mount the GPU blocks

The gtx 670 FTW 4GB PCB

above i was considering painting the sli bridge white to go with the fittings and the backplates of the gpus white but i decided against it.

now i started tubing the system. trying to make it look as clean as i can and now you see what i mean i wish i would of changed to mounting for the rez and i didnt want to run the inlet for the rez to the bottom of it cause i felt it wouldnt of looked as good. and would of made the runs look to long

i was so nerviouse of this. but i filled it and was leak testing  over night with a external psu. let it run consistantly over night.

the next morning nothing no leaks and all was good.

this is how i linked my pump up to the rez and the front rad

final photos. until i get off my lazzy but and finish my wireing but atm i an content on where it is.

this is the wires i have worked on and have not finished.

    and my setup pics

well i hope you enjoyed and this was my first build log. I had a great time working on it. And hopefully i will be able to make anouther soon.

CyBaNeTiiKz reacted to M00NIE in [upgrade log] MSI - 780lightning/Mpower, Corsair 750D
Edit: Finished album, some more pics that aren't in the thread: http://imgur.com/a/QDVfy

So this upgrade was triggered by problems i was having with my current graphic cards, after a lot of frustration with my 570 sli i wanted to buy a single high end card to last a while. After seeing the 900&350d I had always planned to buy the 750d even before knowing its name. So since i was already using a z77 mpower, planning to buy a 780, and have a 750d on the way i decided to throw a bit more time/money at it to make something that looked cool.   It was my first time sleeving so i decided to take some short cuts and buy the black pre sleeved cables for my PSU, and attempt to replace some of the wires with yellow myself. Old hardware used -
    I5 2500k
    MSI Z77 Mpower
    Corsair 1600mhz ram
    Silverstone Strider plus
    Creative Titanium HD
    2TB WD Green
    OCZ vertex 3 120GB

    Purchased -
    Corsair 750D
    3x 140mm Bequite! Silent wings 2 pwm
    NZXT Hue
    Silverstone sleeved PSU cables
    MDPC-X yellow/black sleeve

    To buy -
    MSI 780 lightning
    Swiftech h320
    3x Noctua Nf-f12

    Old system:

750d front panel connectors sleeved (nothing i could do about the USB3 connector, would require going to lengths i was not prepared for.)   NZXT HUE sleeved

    New case fans -

    Front panel connected:

    progress so far:

Reverse mounted the NZXT hue. Plan to have a Swiftec H320 with 3x Nf-f12's at the top, fans hidden between the case and rad. Also case fans will be powered by some splitter thing so wont connect to the motherboard unlike in this pic. For now i have the system running with an old cooler  and using 1 of my 570s till i get the rest of the parts.

My Corsair 350D arrived yesterday a couple of days earlier than it supposed to, nevertheless I'm very happy with it. Here is the build transfered to the new case. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

PS: H110 is pain in the ass to fit in this case especially when you have a LGA 2011 motherboard.

It's because both sides act as a mirror, but at different times. When the lights are off inside the case, the outside acts as a mirror but you can see through it from the inside - where as when the lights are on, the inside acts as a mirror but you can see through it from the outside.

I took a couple more photos of the case in total darkness which gives a better representation of how it looks to the eye.
