Hi I've just tried to open my Nvidia control panel because 'the next car game' wouldn't see my geforce gt 630m. so I opened the nvidia control panel and it said 'Nvidia display settings are not available, you are not currently using a display attached to an nvidia gpu.' I'm very frustrated because I cant play any games because it will only use 'Microsoft basic render driver.' Please help, all feedback is appreciated!!

Hi its Kid again and at the moment I'm planning on a gaming PC build for July 2014. A lot of BF4 players have been recommending 120 and 144Hz monitors for gaming. The catch is that I'm on a tight budget of £800 and I can only afford an AMD Radeon R9 280X with a 60Hz monitor or an AMD R9 270X with a 144Hz monitor. I am really confused about what I should favour more refresh rate or performance so my question is this. High performance with low refresh-rate or mid-range performance with high refresh-rate? Thanks a lot for your answers!

What about cooling because I've heard stock heat syncs are not good for the cpu and does the case come with fans? But thanks still I really appreciate the feedback- 10 replies

My First PC Build! Hello I'm a guy who wants to build a gaming and editing pc under £800 GBP for my (not very well known) YouTube channel. http://www.youtube.com/user/Kidflydragon My only preferences are: Some form of an Intel CPU A black and blue theme for the case and components Peripherals like keyboard, mouse and monitor (preferably 1920 x 1080) Also don't include the OS price because I can get them for free :) I will be playing things like Battlefield 3 and Minecraft with adobe premier pro CS6 for editing! I hope you can help me because I'm not a full on tech geek yet but I hope I can get some wisdom from you guys in the Linustechtips community! :D
