  2. "Macs don't get viruses" meme really need to stop, its going to hurt Apple eventually rather than help.
  3. I have read much of the comments above and understand their concerns about Project "FloatPlane" but I think it is a great idea. My start-up company had a video hosting site in development about two years ago(with the project laying around somewhere) Due to some very unforeseen circumstances, we shifted our focus to our current project. LMG,I wish you guys and girls the best with this project but I warn you about how you guys are not the only ones working on something like this, but I have faith in this since there is a real media company backing this compared to our endeavor. PS: I'm excited to eventually test this service out.
  4. How to stay protected? Well first you need to get some... protection
  5. You mean this: For optimal experience, set headphones to 100%!
  6. My major problem with Twitch selling games through it's own client is that, A) we already have too many clients. And B) There is no point to this client. Lets look at each popular client and their "Claim to fame" Valve's Steam: The biggest and most universal client. CDP's GOG: DRM Free with optional clent EA's Origin: EA Centric Client with Exclusive way of playing EA games on PC. Ubisoft's Uplay: mandatory client for playing Ubisoft games, games can be bought through Steam. Humble Bundle: Storefront for buying both steam keys and DRM free games most of the time bundled together Amazon's Twitch Client: You can buy games with giving the streamer a cut. Oh, and you get free emotes and stuff. Unless Amazon has some seriously good exclusives(Which they don't have right now, nor have announced any interesting ones yet).\ I fear that they will "Purchase" some exclusive PC versions of games so no other platform(Steam) gets certain games.
  7. Well that would be an interesting turn of events in the Tech/Media world, if true. The primary question that remains is would the FTC allow this deal to go through, I'm not sure they would. But this report's time is interesting, I thought I read an article last year that Bob Iger was looking to retire. Plus with the partnerships that Apple and Disney have done in the past I would not be surprised, Comcast and Time Warner tried to merge two years ago.
  8. I was wondering ever since the Rift and Touch $600 bundle, is it worth it to buy over the HTC Vive. I want to get a newer VR experience over demoing the vive or rift at the Microsoft Store and using my google cardboard once and a while with being disappointed with the quality of the experience. or door #3: wait to see how good the LG VR headset is.
  9. Now that we are almost done with the first month of 2017, it looks like we are becoming more divided than ever. From 2016 being the "worst year ever" to the given united states presidential election, is the division being made worse by the technology in our hands. I first heard the concept when listening to Reviewtechusa in which he discusses how we could be entering into a new dark age, not through the inability to communicate with other people but having too much access to information at such a rapid pace. From site that post Fake News or highly exaggerate the news to a degree so much so that people have a blind following of the information. I feel people on different sides of ideologies are jumping to conclusions when most of the info has not been presented. What do you guys think?
  10. So far the update fixes a good chunk of the game. It is a "Foundation" for future updates, which could help a lot. Here are some more things that would help the game. 1) better PC graphics, this is probably a big undertaking(rendering tech, rendering pop-in level) It's probably a lot to ask for but it would help the game so much. 2) large npc settlements on planets, offering goods that can't be bought anywhere else 3)Political controlling planets: existing empires, creating empires and war. 4) Some form of multiplayer.
  11. Notice: I have put about 500 hours into the Xbox One version of the game. I have played Destiny since the launch and I have loved it alot. Its a fantastic shooter, which is weird for me to say since its caped at 30 fps. It has been by go to game for when I want a mindless shooting experience. Right now I would hold off though, and for several good reasons. 1) Rise of Iron has added a lot of good content, but has brought many Destiny "Year 1" problems(THE GRIND). Because there is not that much content, you will have to grind the new strikes(1 new one, 2 revamps). 2) Destiny 2. With the rumored amount of revamps, If your going to play I would start with next years title. 3) Destiny 2 will be on PC.
  12. So I just picked up Destiny again for the Xbox One(Still waiting for that PC port Bungie!). While the story is getting better with each new story campaign, what drives me to continue playing the game is the excellent gameplay AND the music. The question is, are there any games that have excellent music in the video games retro era (1982-1989), Neo-Retro(1990-1998) and the modern era(1999- 2006) and Neo-Modern(2007- Now) My top ten list for Neo-modern music: 1) Destiny 2) The Witcher 3 3) Black Mesa 4) Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim 5) Deus Ex: Human Revolution HM: Grand Theft Auto 5 HM: Metal Gear Solid 5
