I currently m using a 7200rpm drive in my 17r3. Needless to say it sucks donkey balls. I am planning to upgrade to a 960 evo 1tb. Is it compatible with my system ? if yes then please let me know the procedure for installing it in my system. Thank you

Whenever I try to install windows 8.1 on my new ssd I get an error saying we couldnt create a new partition or locate an existing one. What should I do ?

M using windows 10 on my laptop. Since yesterday my laptop wont go past the bpot screen. So i held the power button down to shut it down. After trying to start it a couple of times system tried to start the automatic repair failing to do that as well. But this time i got a blue screen error saying machine check_check_exception. So i ran the diagnostics and found no hardware error. What could da problem be ?

I have windows 10 installed on my laptop. whenever i keep my system on for like 10-12 hours for downloading the hdd and memory usage jump to above 96%. system gets very slow. when i try to shut it down or restart it the system would go to the shutdown screen like it normally should but then instead of power off it switches to the lock screen. this happens with both shut down and restart option. what could the issue be ??

A new update just came out for bios. Is the bios now detecting samsung 950 pro ?? Should I go for it or should I wait for a few more updates ? Please let me know asap. Its hard to tolerate 7200 rpm drive after using ssd.
