  1. Or rent a VM, those are really cheap and relevantly hassle free. I would avoid current Macs, especelly when the ARM macs are coming soon.
  2. Run a GPU benchmark like furmark, then an CPU benchmark, see if the system is stable. My theory It seems like the GPU takes a bit of power from the mobo, due to the Mobo quality, that's whats causing the crash. more GFX intensive Games will use more power. get a card like the 750TI, they use almost no power.
  3. This is so pointless, your suggesting OP import a global version with no warranty and a known screen issue? am i getting this right?
  4. XL was excellent and SOLI in theory was really technically advance, a fracking radar in a phone that consumes almost no power. I was following the development, it went from a desktop size computer to a tiny chip. Even Face ID was faster due to SOLI, it detected the person using radar( sounds badass). https://atap.google.com/soli/ Hope they still work on it Look how far they have come Google blog https://ai.googleblog.com/2020/03/soli-radar-based-perception-and.html Papers if your curious http://www.ivanpoupyrev.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/siggraph_final.pdf https://www.researchgate.net/publication/320371177_Soli_Mio_Exploring_Millimeter_Wave_Radar_for_Musical_Interaction https://www.theverge.com/2019/1/4/18168083/google-project-soli-radar-hardware-applications-radarcat-solinteraction-university-of-st-andrews https://ai.googleblog.com/2020/03/soli-radar-based-perception-and.html I know the normal pixel 4 sucked but i wanted it to be successful due to radar.
  5. Excellent article LOL, so bad deal and a decent deal, nice. Hold on But i thought it was not a great deal? what happened to all those 350$ 5G phones with better specs? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZMWVJDtt6g 90 hz is not that big of a deal when it comes to midrange phones, for 400$ when you can get a pocco f2 pro with SD 865, Nord becomes a joke. results count, Jerry is not an engineer, he bends phones for living. Also he did get free Nord from one plus. You are giving up piece of mind, no warranty...ect yes also they have actual warranty hat works well enough. Google RMA is a godsend compared to trained monkeys One plus has. overall importing a Nord is a bad idea, If OP wants something impressive get a Pocco f2 pro. One plus nord was a very big letdown for what if offered in the market, repacked Oppo phones are not it anymore when Pocco exists. Seriously, why diden't anymore being up the f2 pro for 400$ they are competing in the same market. FYI get the f2 pro, or pixel 4A. https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/US/xiaomi-poco-f2-pro won't work in the state, no band support. Chinese One plus phones have completely bands then the global/ US variants.
  6. Not a good idea, that PSU sounds like a bomb combined with a RX 480.
  7. When the Pixel 4A exists, no. Have you looked at reviews and coverage? Pixel 4a literally killed it. For hardware issue? for one plus 8, it had the same issue and "software fix" was useful as downloading more ram, they hit the problem but it was still an issue when you turn down the brightness or go into dim lighting. You want to deal with Aliexpress? and unofficial one plus warranty? i have horror story with normal official supported ones in canada, do you really want to take that route? WUT? Plastic build not bending, yes it's possible with engineering effort. 3A had excellent battery life and reviewers said the same about the 4a, it's actually better. Did you even look at coverage? yes it does, slower then one plus but still fast charging, 18 watt. So? less battery drain also cheap highrefresh OLED have issues, i wouldn't risk it. Due to 1080p 60HZ with efficient SOC, good battery and EXCELLENT OPTIMIZED SOFTWARE STRAIGHT FROM GOOGLE WITHOUT ANY BLOAT LIKE FACEBOOK will give you good battery life, 8 hours SOT is not bad. Camera, RMA, SOFTWARE 3 YEARS OF SUPPORT, headphone jack, USB 3.1, 50$ cheaper, reliable fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers. please read actual review instead of shitty one plus marketing slides. Reviewers and actual people were disappointed by how lackluster the whole launch was. TLDR- Pixel 4A is an excellent phone for 350$, they did hit it out of the park, where they focus on actual things users care about like camera, software update, stereo speaker, headphone jack. \ Here is a video of Nord bending, TLDR get a 7T if you want an one plus. Really shitty engineering Also it was not released in NA Really? No one? a 50$ cheaper phone having more and faster updates. Also 400$ is a lot of money for that, 3 years minimum for a phone above 250$.
  8. even the phone is overall overpriced for what if offers, especially compared to the Pixel 4A, or a s10E for 450$ on sale. Camera is just bad Screen has QC issues( no warranty, so good luck)( its hardware) Poor update only 2 years of OS with 1 year of extra security Plastic frame, so bending might be an issue no USB 3.1 older 2.0 overall it was generic and overpriced for what if offered, a older 7T is a so much better phone and they go for 400$ on sale. so get it, if you want but i wouldn't recommend it, same goes for most reviewers. If you want to import a phone, find a poco f2 pro for 400$.
  9. Sprint doesn't exist anymore since the merger, so they might close off a few bands or add new ones. Not sure what the future holds, i would buy US phones for US use.
  10. not worth it, get the Pixel 4A. Importing phones means, you will loose warranty. should but it's missing US bands, so not the best experience. https://www.kimovil.com/en/frequency-checker/US/oneplus-z
  11. That's not a stable OC, tweak settings more.
  12. why? am i the only one hoping Intel bounces back and gives AMD competition or AMD will become the new intel.
  13. Don't think OP will OC, stock they are on par( at best, most of the time i5 will beat it due to IPC, it's also a newer platform so upgradability), keep in mind it's a old used pc, so expectations on OC will have to be managed, 5ghz is a pipe dream so 4.6 will be more realistic.
  14. price is too high, get it down to 500 to 580 max. It's a very old platform.
  15. i5, due to higher IPC. Why not go for a Ryzen?

FIRST PC BUILD:- need part advice. Hello, my na…

you need to post in on the forum, this is a status update.
  17. Yup, it's a powerful computer with good battery life.
  18. adobe photoshop/ aftereffect? Quicksync will be useful what type of games?
  19. Don't find it table enough for the Galaxy line, Oppo X2 pro and One plus 8 pro has serious display issues, QC is very hit or miss.
  20. Sony, it lost in in 2018 with XZ2 and bought it back with the mark 2.
