Project SOLI has so much potential, WTF is wrong with them. Make a smartwatch or use it in the phone for something more than simple gestures/ detecting people.

    You're expecting too much from Google.

     

    They've been known to release experiments with a lot of potential out in the wild half-baked (or even quarter-baked) and then shortly abandoning it thereafter when it doesn't catch on.
