  1. Hi all, Recently I am experiencing an issue relating to my friend computer and it's driving me crazy for the last couple of weeks. Every time he plays a game, his computer would crash and the computer reboot. When this problem first appears, I thought it was just because of outdated drivers or windows so I went ahead and told him to update them. However, the computer still crashes after I update everything so I did a sfc scannow on cmd and thought this might be the problem. Cmd then told me there are no corrupted files and despite the amount of effort that I put into trying to fix my friend computer, it wouldn't work and the computer always crash. This has been going for a few days now and the crashing also has a pattern. For example, in rainbow six it would crash very quickly, usually after 1-2 rounds and on the other hand, he can play Dota for 5-6 games before experiencing the crash. Also after every crash, his computer boot option went on of wack and he has to manually set it back to his SSD for the computer to boot normally. I'm no computer expert so therefore I'm wishing that you guys give me the help I need. Thank you!! 2. Thanks all of you for helping out. I think I will settle with 70-200mm f/4 or if I can find a good deal or save a little more money cause school are over and I can gather the cash through the summer. Thanks you guys again, really appreciated!
  3. Thanks guy, i will give it more time but the advices are great. Again, many thanks.
  4. Hi all, I have been doing photography for a year now. People said i m really good at it so i m officially my school photographer after 5 months. Most of the time, i shoot sport (in/outdoors) but all of the lens i use are the school lens. I have a Nikon 50mm f1.8 and a sigma 18-35mm f.1.8. Although the 50mm suits for indoor sports with its fast aperture, it doesn't works when i m outside trying to do track & field or rugby. I now have a money for my own telephoto lens so i f left with two decision. A: a 70-200 f4; B. a 50-100 f1.8. Because i m shooting on a D7100 with APS-C sensor, i wont be able to get the same bokeh with 4 or 2.8 as full frame so i m really falling for the 1.8 but the focal length is what holding me back. Thanks,
  5. Thanks yall for helping me. Really appreciated it. Have a great Sunday everyone.
  6. I kinda like macOS better. Don't get me wrong, i own a custom built PC and windows experience has been very good. But i wouldn't switch to a windows laptop anytime soon. I kinda agreed with ya, since i ma spend most of my days in summer on the street. I would like dongle free and longer battery life. But between the 13inch and 15 inch what would you recommend? i know you mention that 15 have DGPU but apple doesn't sell that version anymore. And weight is kinda a problem cause all of my gear add up to a fair amount of weight in my backpack already.
  7. Hi all, Hope you all are having/had a good weekend. I have a problem in choosing a new laptop. I want to upgrading from my old Macbook Air (Early 2015) to a Macbook Pro. But, I m a photographer so the new Macbook, without a SDXC card slot is a huge bummer for me. Despite that, the screen is also important to me and because the new MBP have better screen, i m now stuck with the decision: A. Buy the 2015 MBP and deal with a different screen. But all of the old port that i love and need like the SDXC. B. Buy the new MBP which is slightly faster and have better screen but then i have to live the dongle life. Thanks.
  8. Hi y'all, If the GTX 1080 Ti have all of the shit that they told, will the GTX 1080 will be worthit at this point over a 1080 Ti since the prices has drop?
  9. THANKS YOU GUYS SO MUCH, YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!!!!! I will save moeny for the upcoming gtx 1080ti and PSU.
  10. It's a real pain in the butt to work with. The only reason i bought it is because everything lays flat so not MB drag by the enormous weight of my D15 and no to GPU sag. The very cons about the case is that it only have 2 drive slot (another 2 hot swaps but if you re gaming and your brother decide to see what it does then RIP) OC is fun until you wait for AIDA to run for stability test lmao.
  11. you do have a point, it sits in 4.6Ghz for now and if it does bottle neck then i will bump it to 5.0Ghz
  12. Ok, i will try to do all of them at once since i own a HAF XB and the PSU is wayyyyyyyy downstair so pulling it out willl be the biggest pain in the butt. Ok, GTX 1080 ti it's then, thanks
  13. Cool, btw, will my i5 6600K bottle neck a gtx 1080ti that much if it tried to bump it to 5.0 gHz? i got a NH-D15 as a cooler so cooling wouldn't be and issue.
