  1. Hey guys.. Today I recieved the parts for my the pc I wanted to build. I got to the end of the building but when I tried to turn it on: 1. It doesnt turn on at all. 2. Ez debug led cpu flashes red for a milisecond and goes off again. 3. No screen, no sound, basically as if I havent pressed a thing.. Mobo: MSI B150M Bazooka Cpu: Intel Core i5 6500 Psu: Xfx 500 w 80 + bronze Please help ._.
  2. If that is the case, an I5 would do just fine, even better .. Go with the unlocked version, OC it and you'd be future proofed for some time, can't say how much tho, next gen games are going wild these year
  3. I think that ultra might be a bit high for some games like gta 5 that are gpu dependant.. I might be wrong tho. But for the next 2 years, going with that kind of a cpu used only for gaming is quite good.
  4. Which games do you play and what is your budget ?
  5. Hello everyone. So I am about to build a new PC for gaming and video editting and I need help deciding what monitor I should go with. Since I am going with a AMD Radeon r9 390 I've decided to go with a freesync monitor, AOC G2460PF 144hz 24.0" to be exact, but the question I am asking myself is: Do I really need a freesync monitor or can I play games effectivly, without tons of tears or stutters with a monitor that doesn't support freesync. Now, it isn't a problem for me to buy a freesync monitor, I just want to know if I need freesync 144hz to play games without running into any display problems or I could go without the freesync part. I know it might be a dumbdumb question, however I am in real need of help here! Thanks in advance!
  6. Might I suggest going with a r9 390 ? I know that it has always been a question which card out of them two is better, but to be honest, r9 390 is better for more games than 970 and there actually isn't a big difference in the games that run better with the 970. It all comes to the buyer's prefference, however keep in mind that freesync monitors are cheaper than g-sync ones
  7. I actually might have mixed them, so many things going on, my brain can't keep up. My bad!
  8. 750Ti isn't a bad GPU. It can run games like GTA 5 and Whitcher 3 in 1080p, while not on max settings, it still provides decent gaming experience and is a great bang for the buck card! It is a good pc build overall but what I wouldn't reccommend is buying an XFX PSU, just don't from what I know and have heard, XFX's PSUs are not a viable option. Try a non-modular corsair or something, it will do way better!
  9. A mobo that will do just fine with that cpu and will suite your needs is probablly this one http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-h170apcmate it supports ddr4 2133 memory only, if I am not mistaken, but everything else seems reasonable with that mobo, also 2133 of Memory speed isn't bad
  10. rendering will be a bit slower but gaming will have no visable difference what so ever
  11. People these days do wonders with 4ghz , don't sweat it. Anyways, clock it down to 4ghz so that you don't damage your cpu and then look for solutions on the internet to see if anyone has had a common problem, you could also try talking with someone who you know that understands more about these stuff but first of all, clock it down. You will probablly feel bad if your cpu dies
  12. I think you won't be concerned about your cpu overheating And it wont matter that much
