Hey guys sorry for the long wait, the weather has been really bad so that prolonged the painting process. Here's some pictures of some parts we will use in the desk (not hardware). We will try to post pictures of the painted desk soon! PCI Express x16 Riser Extender for our graphics card, the Hue+ for some nice lighting inside the desk, and arcade LED buttons we will use for the power and LED controls XSPC Raystorm Extreme Universal CPU Watercooling Kit Mayhems Ultra Pure H20 Coolant

Hey guys just a quick update, I just ordered the parts I can only get from the internet (water cooling, power/led button, led, coolant, etc.) once I get them all i'll start building etc.
-
@W-L For the watercooling system i'll be using this kit http://www.performance-pcs.com/xspc-raystorm-extreme-universal-cpu-watercooling-kit-w-ex120-radiator-750-pump-res.html do you know if aurora will go without clogging?
-
@W-L Which one out of the two you recommended is less cloggy? If that made sense
-
Hey guys so i'm currently working on a project, which you can find here: project aqua, I would like to know what would be a cool coolant for my water cooling system. If it could be under 15 and be blue that would be great. I was looking at Mayhem;s aurora dye set and that looked pretty good if you guys could give me reviews on that, that would be great as well!
-
@DroidbotIt is possible we just cant go too high or else like you said, itll go up in smoke
-
Sadly, due to personal problems, the desk case will be scrapped and replaced with a regular case build.

@Droidbot We plan to start the overclock at 4.0Ghz max and maybe will pick up a new motherboard later on.
-
@IsaacDaGrazin Haha I guess it will! Thanks I hope you enjoy the beauty that we're trying to make it.
-
@Trav_X Yea we're planning to crank that baby up lol.
-
@Hackentosher Sadly an SSD is too much for my budget, as it stands the full project is going to cost roughly ~$257 and even that is pushing the limit. As a junior in high school I don't have that much money so i'm sticking to the bare bones for this one.
-
@jpgrandi sadly the computer was prebuilt and i had no choice for what I could and couldn't get, trust me if I was able to build my own custom computer it would be way better!

Hey guys so starting today, i'll be planning and building a desk computer setup (desk, case, etc.) with my friend. Since we have a tight budget the focus will be a cheap build that works perfectly and looks great. The desk will be 5 feet by 3 feet and the actual computer will contain water cooling, contain LED's, and other goods. We will be posting pictures whenever we can! CURRENT STAGE: Desk built, waiting for the final parts to come! CURRENT PRICE: ~$275 SPECS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE: Processor: Intel Pentium G3258 DUAL CORE Video Card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 750 Memory: A - Data Technology 8GB (2x4GB) Motherboard: MSI H81M-E33 (MS-7817) Storage: Seagate 1TB Desktop HDD SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Bare Drive (ST1000DM003) Power Supply: T.B.A Monitors: - Samsung SyncMaster (Secondary) - Acer H236HL Keyboard: AZZA Redragon S101 Vajra Mouse: ZhiZhu® ET Thunderbird 11 Tasten Wired Gaming Mouse Operation System: Windows 10 If you would like to make this project look cooler and boost the performance, click this link (we'd be eternally grateful): link UPDATES: Update #1
