  1. Wrote to them and got clyde bot reply with some suggestions do I need to reply for that bot or wait some hours/days till I get a response?
  2. A few days ago I tried creating my daughter an discord account, upon registering, I enter her created gmail account, password and it asked me to verify it via a text message to the phone, without realising I entered my phone number to get the code in text message. After entering the code my daughters account got blocked, saying that account is dissabled, and in my email I received a message that my phone is being used on different discord account and that phone can only be used for one account. I read a bit online and got scared because I cannot remove my phone from dissabled daughter account, nor I could add my phone back to my account without it dissabling too. Please help, what should I do in this situation?
  3. It will certainly do a better job than I would but, thanks guys for replies. Really appreciate the help
  4. I let windows to manage the size of it
  5. But, certainly not a hard drive, from little research done this morning I found out from some reddit and other forum posts that page file should be on your fastest drive, which in case is my samsung 990 pro nvme ssd but, there was no mention of having two page files so, I was unsure if I can safely disable the one on hard drive
  6. I set it to none, then restarted windows, so far no complaints
  7. No, I cloned windows from previous 1TB 970 Evo ssd to 1TB 990 Pro ssd and remember setting up recycle bin to disk D at some point but, never installed windows on it
  8. So I was casually looking at task manager the other day and randomly noticed that windows have pagefile on my C drive (nvme ssd where OS is written to) and D drive which is a hard drive from secondary storage devices. Why would windows have a page file on two devices and is it safe to disable that on Disk D which is a 7200rpm WD Ultrastar hard drive?
  9. That would be weird because, motherboard is less than 2.5 years old, also I didn't had that bios error beep problem when using my gtx 1080 with acer predator xb271hu monitor and it's provided display cable just one month ago when I switched to using new gpu. What changed in the setup is the monitor to LG 27GP850, display port cable to startech vesa certified one and the graphics card. Can the freesync monitor somehow impact that? I do turn it off when I leave pc running at night doing video encoding... Also when in windows, if I turn off the monitor whilst still wearing headphones - I hear hardware disconnect sound from windows which is weird to me... PSU is from early 2017 which not super old and it's Seasonic Prime Titanium 850w unit when they started making it with a warranty of (previously) 10 years, now 12 years... The whole computer is connected via UPS which is an Cyber Power 780w unit (in use since 2017) because, we had few black outs in first year when we moved to this house (back in 2017). Stress testing the system and doing cinebench r23 multi run with furmark fullscreen gave power usage of 600w (including monitor) so would not think that 'not enough' power is an issue here. Gpu has 3 separate 8 pin cables connected too - seasonic provided cables don't have pigtails on them. Also to add note - the beep error code doesn't happen on every cold boot, I started the pc for two days with no error beep codes old cold boot but, today got one upon starting the pc this morning so, it's intermittent.
  10. So last December I purchased an open box 6900xt graphics card, which I've used for past several weeks... Recently - 2 weeks ago I noticed that, whenever I start up the pc - the POST would give single beep (everything fine) and then 1 long and 3 short beeps suggesting a 'vga error' even when pc starts up just fine and display is displaying properly. This happens mostly during cold boot meaning, that if I restart the computer it doesn't give error beeps. What could be happening here?
  11. So I bought Samsung 990 Pro 1TB ssd last year before x-mas, been using it less than a month, did write about 1.3TB of data total to it. Now newest HWinfo64 app version reports that I wrote 2TB and something to it according to ssd's firmware which is also newest... which could not happen since my clone of windows was like 600gb with all games and apps then deleted few games and installed other ones might take another 500gb at most... also read is much lower than write for some reason (like windows would not read any files, just write them) Anyway - is it normal for SSD to drop 4% of lifespan within less than a month? Because, from february 2019 till December 2022 my previous ssd - 970 Evo still has 99% of lifespan with 10 times more writes and reads...
  12. So I've recently upgraded from my gtx 1080 to rx 6900xt and needed to switch from previous monitor to freesync capable one, the monitor I'm using is LG 27GP850... I've reinstalled the drivers, the usual stuff when doing gpu swap, setting are not changed I've set monitor to turn off after 10 minutes if not being used since I often leave my computer encoding videos overnight, one thing with this monitor is that you could see it turning off - being black for some time, then the monitor lights up black with dialogue box from monitor menu saying that monitor will enter power saving mode or something like that. It goes black for some time and then after sometime (I don't know the exact period of time) monitor again lights up with black display for no reason, and it keeps doing that overnight - what could be wrong and don't let the monitor to enter turn off state? Is there a setting in radeon software that is doing that? ps. power saving and automatic stand by is turned off when I got the monitor first day...
  13. That means 20tb drive will work as single partition with 18.5TB of usable space (or something like that)?
  14. I'm using GPT for all the drives. WD gold 14tb is only 512e, wd gold 12tb with 'AF' written on it is 512e/4Kn, that ultrastar drive specs sheet says 512e/4Kn at first I was confused that it might not work but, if my 12tb one works just fine - I have nothing to worry then.
  15. I would like to replace my 12tb wd gold (and later 2 x 14tb wd gold) drive to 20tb wd ultrastar 'DC HC560' model drives because price is very affordable https://www.scan.co.uk/products/20tb-western-digital-ultrastar-hc560-sata-hard-drive-35-hdd-sata-6gb-s-7200rpm-512mb-cache-512e-4096 (I paid same price for 14tb drive back in 2020 July) and I've read that new wd gold drives are mostly rebadged wd ultrastar drives with modified firmware but same hardware (my 14tb wd gold drives which are newer say 'powered by ultrastar' and have a different label than 12tb gold drive before wd merged ultrastar line and gold). As I started doing a bit of research on those drives and compatibility of them inside pc - I found conflicting answers online... Some websites say that windows support maximum of 16tb drives, others say that GPT partition supports up to 9 exabytes... Which would be the correct answer?
  16. Thanks for input guys, this is my very first AIO so my expectations were too high for it in thinking that it would lower cpu temps by 20c or more... but, now I got more questions which are related to the pump and motherboard. AIO pump assembly has one 4pin pwm connector to supply 3 fans, small vrm fan and pump of single pwm fan header. In specifications of AIO it says max pump speed - 2000rpm but, during tests cpu fan was never going up above 1600-1700rpm. My motherboard has a dedicated AIO_PUMP header on the motherboard next to CPU_FAN and CPU_OPT headers (which share current of 1A). Question is - if I disconnect small vrm fan with 3 fans on radiator and only leave pump, should I plug it in the aio_pump header and able to see accurate pump speed, if the headers pinnout is the same as cpu fan header (picture from manual page about fan headers below) and run 3 (or 6) radiator fans from cpu fan header with aio pump not needing to share power from single fan header and having it's own 1A header?
  17. with pbo on it still gets to 89-90c which is a bummer as with pbo on cpu goes to over 200w heat and both D15 and 360mm Arctic LF II - result in 1c difference, lol. case fans were set to max, and pump with its fans were also max as per 100% at 80c bios setting for cpu fans
  18. It's my first ever AIO so my expectations were high, sorry for that. for the price - AIO good and comes half assembled already, would a bigger radiator like let's say 420mm one benefit something if pump block is the same or it would do nothing?
  19. I meant, false to a certain degree, like the way you put it, in my eyes looked like ''lower = 10c or 15c lower'' temps that's why I said false
  20. 4c lower is okay but not what I was expecting judging from the praise AIO's get vs Air Coolers, atleast access to m.2 ssd is now easier and honestly I could squeezed in 420mm AIO inside Obsidian 750D airflow edition because it supports 3 x 140mm fans at the top but I was worried about diminishing returns of it cause, pump block is identical to 240, 280 and 360...
  21. false, at same room temp of 24c I ran CB R23 multiscore test with stock 5950x cpu temp with D15 was 68c, at 1000rpm case fan speed, and cpu fan speed in 70-80% range, today Liquid Freezer II 360mm AIO arrived, so I've installed it to be top exhaust, assembled pc back and start testing, because pump block and fans use same connector (which goes to cpu fan) so, in bios I have set a profile for cpu fan header to be 50% at 40-45c, 75% at 60-65c and 100% from 80c onwards, same profile was used for D15. Once again case fans running at fixed speed set by fan controller, turned on pc, let it warm up for about 10 minutes then ran CB R23 multiscore test, while it did gained about 500CB points - cpu temp via HWInfo64 was showing 64-65c so about 4c lower at 0.5c higher room temp
  22. I was thinking of getting all in one liquid cooler for my cpu but, because I'm totally new to liquid coolers, thought of asking here for a recommendation of good and reliable 360 or 420mm AIO, currently owning an NH-D15 air cooler and during encoding my 5950x would get pretty warm up to 80c - stock at about 24-25c room temperature and even more on hotter days, testing cpu with pbo on gave 90c during CB23 multi core run... so far from what I've seen online, NH-D15 is on par with 240/280mm AIO but question would be - would 360mm or 420mm AIO make any negligible difference?
  23. So I updated bios from 2019 november to newest 2021 may version on asus chrosshair 8 hero, the strange thing I get now which I used to get with old bios but, rarely is that cpu (r9 3900x) stays at base clock and voltage is way to low for it at idle - doing nothing via cpu-z it shows like 1.08v or 1.2, the thing I get is - if I move program window like cpu-z in desktop - there is huge delay from where I move it to windows, which last time happened back in 2006 with single core computer, I restarted several times and set power options to performance with minimum/maximum cpu state to 100% but that did nothing, what could be the case of such behaviour? when I drag an application window from side to side there is noticeable delay even when cpu-z shows that cpu speed gone up from 3750mhz to 4375mhz yet before - on idle cpu speed was its highest and only dropping to 4.0ghz when I load a video encoding on it...ps. I only changed ai tuner from auto to docp to enable my ram timings and clock speed.
