  1. im using the asrock 990fx extreme9. i dont know why its showing that voltage. in bios im @1.452vcore. i may try and lower it here in a few to see if i can make it stable at a lower voltage...
  2. heyya, im currently at a stable 5ghz with my fx6300 (have an 8350, but i noticed a slight fps increase in games with th 6300), and i was wanting to know if after about an hour of p95 blend tests, 69c temps are good? im using a corsair h100iv2 cooler.... running a new profile with the pump and fans running at max during these tests.
  3. ive been a member of uplay since...well, its been a long time lol. its not a game key, but an invite to the closed alpha.
  4. for sure! trying to get back into my uplay now
  5. i have 3 invites left for the closed alpha, if youre interested hmu @ anonymousschris on uplay. you must be my friend for me to send the invite to you!
  6. i did, ive also got 3 extra invites for it...in case any want to try it out with me
  7. ok, you say that it lets you go to bios, right? if im correct, (youve prolly already done this) boot from....wait, you said it doesnt have a CD-ROM drive? what are you using, a bootable iso?
  8. NICE! i love learning something new. i was wondering why my my cpu temps were hitting 8c during idle. lol (so many fans, and the h100i v2)
  9. What about components that done have a cooler on them? like the resistors on the mainboard and things like that? does this mean that as long as im not OC'ng, i can just use the stock cpu cooler and the stock gpu cooler, sin chassis fans?
  10. hmm, i will def take a min to watch that here in a few. thank you. But lets say for example, you have a HDD bay in front of your front intake fans. logically, being that there is an obstruction in the way, the air cannot move in the path of least resistance, making it harder to cool vrms and expel hot air. i would think that if you had a JUMBLE of cables that looked like "poison ivy" from batman lived in the rig, there would be an obstruction that would lead to at least a few degrees in temp difference. Im not arguing, just thinking, friend.
  11. are you running the free or paid version of speccy? not that i would know the difference between the two because ive never used it, but i seen it has a few extras that come with the paid version. Personally, for me, i use CPUID. Although ive been told that its a reliable program, i still use my corsair link program for myliquid cooler, and it tells me a different temp than what CPUID does. im not saying that speccy isnt reliable, mainly because your game should freeze whether or not speccy is installed. well, it SHOULDNT be freezing, but the no monitor program should have an affect on your game freezes
  12. haha, completely understandable. what program are you using to monitor your temperatures with?
