  1. I recently built a new PC. (Monitor 1= AOC G2590PX via Display Port) (Monitor 2= BenQ G950 via PC>HDMI adapter>VGA cable>Monitor) GPU is PowerColor Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB Red Dragon Video Card. After the first boot, both my main monitor and secondary monitor were displayed properly, however I needed to download AMD drivers to get 144hz on my main monitor. When I downloaded the drivers the 2nd monitor lost signal and in display settings there is only 1 monitor now. The resolution for the monitor got combined into the main monitor somehow. (Image attachment below) When I select the higher resolution, I get signal to both monitors however the single display is now over 2 monitors. I can use the secondary monitor with a different cable type, but this resolution is squashed and stretched due to the bad adapter. Any help is appreciated !
  2. Thank you for the help with the builds! Do you guys think these specs would last a long time or will I have to upgrade in about a year or two? As in is it worth investing more into the pc so it can last longer or would it be better to upgrade in the future?
  3. Hey guys! I am planning on building a new PC from start to play games at 1080p/144hz. My planned budget is around €1000 but should I be expecting to pay more if I want this PC to last a few years? I would be streaming with this PC too from time to time. I live in Ireland but most likely will be ordering most parts from the UK. I already have windows, just need help on hardware. Any help is much appreciated!
  4. Thank you very much for these recommendations! Strongly considering getting the AOC G2590PX
  5. All 4 of these monitors are 24 inch, 144hz, 1ms, 1080p, Free Sync, £200... So I need help choosing one. I will be using the monitor for competitive gaming and watching videos. The only big difference I can find is that the AOC is curved. Links to Amazon UK: Acer XF240Hbmjdpr LG 24GM79G Dell S2419HGF AOC C24G1 Or if you recommend any other 144hz monitor please let me know! (Money isn't really a problem tbh) Thanks in advance

Then I would suggest getting acoustic foam or windshield or sound shield.

  8. Sorry for the late reply... No this is not an ad, I was recommended that service by an irl friend and it fixed some problems for me.
  9. Personally I would go with the i7 version. 1050 and 1050ti doesn't have a big difference in performance.
  10. Moving the GPU down a slot may not affect performance depending on your motherboard... This post explains it: Tom's Hardware
  11. If you need to update divers I recommend: Driver Booster 6 It scans your PC for any missing drivers and automatically updates for you.
  12. This might help: Driver Booster 6 It scans your PC for any missing drivers and automatically updates for you.
  13. I don't know where you are located but here is one you can buy: Amazon
  14. The latest 1809 patch for Win10 caused a lot of problems for me too. My suggestion it to go back to Windows 8 like I did, fixed everything. If you REALLY want to stay on Win10 I would suggest, open task manager - more details, and see what is causing so much stress on the laptop. You can also try disabling all windows updates.
  15. Thank you for the fast reply! I will most likely go back to 8.1 now...
  16. Okay so I upgraded my PC to Windows 10 pro from 8.1 pro, and ever since I upgraded I have been getting random frame drops that go from 120+ frames to under 10 frames for a few seconds. Here is an image of the task manager displaying the performance of my computer. The frame drops are noticeable on the GPU graph.ImgurHere is a video of the frames drops happening in-game.YouTubeI have tried: Installing new drivers for the GPU/CPU (Using Driver Booster 6),Un-parking all cores on the CPU,Cleaning my PC,Disabling Windows DVR,Using the lowest possible setting on games.PC Specs;GPU: GeForce GTX 960CPU: AMD FX(tm)-8150 Eight-Core ProcessorMemory: 16 GB RAMCurrent resolution: 1920 x 1080, 60HzOperating system: Microsoft Windows 10 ProI upgraded to Windows 10 for the xbox app so I could talk with friends but if I need to downgrade to Windows 8.1 I will.Any help is appreciated!
